I'm actually lowest on red gems thanks to those 8 komas, i have multiple thousands of the others though, never thought I'd have that happen.

Guys, as stated, please read the rules. They are there for a reason (like the 7000 time I said it tonight). As for JUS, my "combos" consisted of me doing Super Ghosts with Gotenks the whole time and falling off the board. Game is still pretty awesome though. It's Smash Bros. and Marvel v. Capcom 2 all together..Amazing..

As far as combos go for me, it's just freezing time with The World, absorbing some health with Up + Y and then doing Dio's Mudada thing.

A lot.

Noob question: Do I have to use the decks that they gave me..? Like can I use Gotenks and Buu instead of Freeza and Buu? The information I get from you guys will lead to your countless defeats. Seriously..

Provided you unlock them of course! I have Buu, but not Gotenks. If you want a deck, (provided it doesn't have to have Gotenks in it, unless you want the Gotenks-Vegetto deck that the CPU used) , I'll make it for you and we could connect so you can save it.

Btw, Gotenks is unlocked pretty far in to the adventure type mode thing.

Ok, I'm getting pretty close to beating the story mode of the game and here are my major gripes so far.

The combat is too damn sluggish: I'm sure most of us noticed the slowdown in single player mode, but my major problem is that most of the characters attack much slower than their old JSS counterparts. In fact, the entire game just feels slower than JSS. Navigating through platforms is a nightmare unless you've totally mastered pressing down at the right moment so you don't have that crouch delay. I can barely catch up to my opponents when they're fighting on platforms above me. :x

The mission objectives are million times more annoying: I fully completed the original JSS and unlocked every character with only one or 2 missions being annoying. From reading the guide on GameFAQs and after multiple tries, the mission objectives are much more annoying especially combined with the sluggish combat.

However, don't get me wrong, it's still a great game with lots of major improvements over the original. But it seems that the gameplay took a nosedive down trying to cram in more stuff which makes it kind of frustrating to play. I would still highly recommend getting it.

I probably need to get better at it, but most of the flaws I've found are things that weren't present in the original.

I'm just trying to rush through these tutorials so I can earn some characters and build a (somewhat) playable deck.. I tried making one before and I failed. Is Goku a support character only..? (Sorry if I come off sounding noobish, I hardly play import games and this koma system is kind of confusing).

Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Kid Boo, Freeza, Vegetto(Goku's 8 koma..), and Gotenks are all playable. :) You probably haven't gone into J-Evolution and upgraded your Goku, am I correct?

Not having played JSS, I can't compare the swiftness of gameplay, but I still love the game. I'll definately agree some missions seem too demanding, but I just persist and sometimes get lucky with them, the ones that annoy me the most now are the "Have exactly 14 help characters in your deck" ones, I do not see the point of these missions -_-.

Level Goku up with gems and he'll turn in to a battle character. Took me a while to figure that out, I was wondering when I'd unlock him and I finally looked at the evolution menu and realised ^_^;

Here's a rundown of my situation: I just completed whatever I had to do on Earth and now I'm on the astroid (I think lol).I tried building a deck but when I went to training they said it didn't work. My goal is to whip up Dragonball team so I can fight you guys. My record won't bother me much because my wins are going to add up soon enough. Is everybody using the GameFAQs walkthrough? I'm a lazy bastard (as well as a cheap one) who won't sit on the pc while playing the game or print out the guide. :( Would it be a lot easier for me if I had played the first game through?

I must admit, Jump Superstars was faster, but it came at a price. If 2 platforms were level, you couldn't dash across them while doing a special. Everything was a little bit more stiff and unfinished in JSS. However, the result was faster gameplay. Now that they fleshed out the gameplay and animation, the result is slower gameplay. I don't care much, as I don't really see that big a difference, but the slower gameplay is a valid point.

Requirements for a deck:

-You must have at least one battle, support and one 1 block koma in your deck.

-You MUST have a leader, as it is essential every time you go into "Sudden Death" mode. (I recommend a strong, fast, and easy to use charecter.)

My best character for sudden death is Lina Lee without a doubt. I only really use healing supports or maybe Yoruichi's 2 koma for a quick escape, I'm not too fond of the you MUST have support/help koma, but it helps us from having 5 characters in one deck (which would most likely always boil down to a sudden death match anyway)

Seeing how I'm stuck with Luffy and Naruto now, I'll probably end up maining them. I gotta borrow my friend's game again; he had a lot of the DBZ characters. :x That's the thing: I like other people do the "dirty work" of collecting characters and items in games like Budokai and BT, but I always ended up being the best player. Weird, huh? :P

So do you have the game now, like your own copy? I'm confused, :P. I like doing things myself so I know what I have and where it is, especially in the case of JUS, it's confusing to look around at what I have as it is without knowing if I have it or not x.x

I was using a friend's copy yesterday (the one with the Freeza and Buu deck) but now I'm using my own, brand new one! :P I assumed I would get a lot of intro characters because I had played his game but I was wrong..He didn't even tell me about gems or anything. I think he doesn't want me to get better than him.. XD Any of you guys in the Daizex chat? It'll be easier to respond to things... v_v
