People who are uber-technical about small details that don't matter.

-Character bashing.

-Saying Dragonball was good and DBZ sucked, and vice versa.

-Pointing out that the series is repetitive. Fuckin' duh?

Bah...

Oh, on repetition in general, the people who go on about how it's nothing but grunting and powering up for 30 minutes and all that.

:( I hope you don't mean me, as I pay very close attention and am somewhat knowledgable about said tiny ridiculous details. I wouldn't say I'm "technical"...yeah, I don't think you mean the likes of me.

Did you know that Ultimate Gohan's eyes sustain a full border like a Super Saiyan after he powers up, and it stays that way indefinately?

I could also explain the difference between every single Super Saiyan aura and list each time the hard-to-distinguish stages appear.

I am a freak.

They are just picking on a select few episodes. Like Trunks fighting Cell or basically anything that happened between Goku and Freeza. Annoying but necessary series' stretching filler. At least when Cell went to full power, you got to hear his Japanese or English amazing Voice Actors scream for said period of time. If only Cell had fangirls.

Oh, and this too. This is more of an anime-fan thing in general but its about as appropriate as someone going to an Eminem concert and screaming "PROFESSOR EMINEM I LUV U!".

It's the fans who say FUNimation's version is better than the original Japanese version that always irritates me. Those idiots are such fools.

Not counting movie 13, where Gohan can switch back and forth between his original self and his powered up form at will. :P

- Anything DBZ + Linkin Park

- People complaining about the Japanese Goku voice being "too weird" while I'm trying to watch DBZ

- People who hate anyone who doesn't say "widescreen sucks" on command

- People who think I'm trying to be Japanese by liking the Japanese version

- People who use super fucking tiny text that I can't read

-- People who mistake girl fans of the series for guys just because they're not going hyper over pairings (yaoi included) or advertising their love for any of the guy characters on their sleeves (or icons, or pictures, or signatures...).

-- Girl fans who willingly fool other people into thinking they're guys (and vice-versa).

... Oh wait... I'm one of them! NOES! DDDD:

Fans who refer to Goku while in his Super Saiya-jin/Sayan (whatever) 3 form as: 'Super Sayan Goku 3'. I just find it confusing.

I find most Dragonball AMVs to be horribly annoying. Macho posturing butt rock music just doesn't fit well with DBZ, its stuff like that which gives the series a bad rep in America imo. I remember a site called "Ginga Giri Giri" which had great DB AMVs using various music from Anime (including DB). Going a little off topic here- but does anyone remember that site? Better yet, does anyone know where you can find his AMVs? His name was Castor Troy I believe.

Anyway getting back on topic, elitist anime "nubs" who bash Dragonball because its apparently "cool" to hate the series now in the mainstream anime community really angers me. Nubs need to know their roots lol.

You are in luck because Castor Troy is in this very forum..! [/Oprah mode]I remember that and Vegeta Insane and the RPG that came with it. Good times, indeed. :)

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Wow, thank you Mr. Piccolo!! *feels like Chibi-Gohan* lol. I've been looking for his AMVs for a while now. I am very glad I joined this forum now ^^

And yeah, I remember when the site was "Vegeta Insane" as well! It's nice to know I'm not the only one who remembers the old sites ^^

The first DBZ AMV I ever saw was the Vegeta based one with "In the end" as the song, good times, that was like 7 years ago!

I would like to add that I also hate when people say "SSJ3>Chou/Mystic Gohan".

People who think Kid Buu = SSJ3 Goku>>>Gohan Buu.

In short, who treat the anime (and the dub, at that) as if it were canon.

Fans that make chatroom RPGs, make rules against certain behaviors, but let their friends get away with it...

*ahem*.

I don't like when the Kamehameha is called a fireball. It's clearly... something else... that rarely looks like fire or a ball...
The summaries that say things like, "a samurai character (Yabudji)".
A huge archive of recordings from the games that are so grossly mislabeled that I'm tempted to e-mail the owner with a list of corrections... (Vegeta's Burning you attack? Unichi Buster? Goten from SB3=Chaozu? These clearly aren't first hand... I think I'll get out the SNES now...).

Hello. :)

Hmmmmm, I had quite a few fan pet peeves back in the day..

- I used to like dbz fanfiction until the majority of stories just ended up being (very poorly written) variants of how Bulma and Vegeta got together.

- Beckett DBZ magazine

- Full episode sites

- The majority of planet namek's chatroom users, and I don't mean the newbies.

Haha wow :) what are the chances I'd find the creator of my favorite DB fansite back in the day at these forums? I've been sitting here watching your old AMVs and they sure bring back memories ^^ lol :) I thought you had lost interest in the DB series, which was the reason for closing down your site (If memory serves). I guess it was more of the direction of the community that really caused you to close it?

Anyway, another thing I dislike are the anime fans who compare DUBBED Funi DB to their favorite JP anime and try to say how superior it is to DB. If Pioneer continued to dub the rest of the series instead of Funi, I think the general anime community would have a slightly different opinion of the series in America. Yeah Pioneer cut out a lot, but the voices were 10x better imo. Chris Sabat *shudders* ><
