Sorry about the unfortunate timing of the post, it's just that I only follow the Z broadcast on Adult Swim.
Dragon Ball broadcast on Adult Swim LatAm channel.
Re: Dragon Ball broadcast on Adult Swim + Toonami LatAm channel.
Well, it's Goku Day and Warner Channel has been an airing 24 hour marathon of Dragon Ball Z episodes since today's midnight.

A little too late but yeah, I've been officially active in Kanzenshuu for ten years
Re: Dragon Ball broadcast on Adult Swim + Toonami LatAm channel.
A little update:
Adult Swim Latin America premiered a new programming block called アダルト スイム (Yeah, this is not a joke) without any kind of notice or announcement.
This sucks because this means Toonami won't have its second return...
... But this new block may be Daima's possible home on TV in the future.
So far, the channel is still airing Z. Super had been announced but it hasn't been premiered in the channel yet.

So, the new programming block's name is just "Adult Swim" but in Japanese.Tian wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2024 3:55 pm A little update:

1) They have been teasing with a formal return of the Toonami block since launch date but unfortunately, this confirms it's not gonna happen.
2) We're two months away from Dia de los Inocentes (The Latin American equivalent of April's Fools). Dia de los Inocentes is on December 28th.
I know Adult Swim has this kind of trolling humor but this was something you could expect from the U.S block, not the Latin American channel.

Re: Dragon Ball broadcast on Adult Swim + Toonami LatAm channel.
Ironically the 2012 US April Fools joke about Toonami returning did lead to a full fledged revival, and now it's been around longer than Toonami's original 1997-2008 run.Tian wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2024 5:15 pm I know Adult Swim has this kind of trolling humor but this was something you could expect from the U.S block, not the Latin American channel.
It would be neat for Daima to air on a late night block too. I'm pretty sure it will get daytime slots too on a channel like La Tele in Paraguay because Latin America always airs Dragon Ball.Tian wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2024 3:55 pm ... Re: Dragon Ball broadcast on Adult Swim LatAm channel.
Dragon ball is also being currently aired by mexican open TV broadcaster (not paid satelite/cable TV) TV Azteca, in a channel called Azteca Siete (7).
They do as it is customary in Mexico: Air original DB, followed by Z, followed by DBGT, then when it is over, inmmediately on the next day they would go back to original DB and pretty much do it over and over and over again. Sometimes it only goes back to Raddit's saga. It comes to a point when for Mexico it does not matter if it is DB, Z or GT, it is simply Goku's time, imgine this: you might be walking down the street and come across any business where they are watching DB and then think "Oh, they are by the Radditz/Majinbuu/Whatever Saga nowadays" and then any day you can retake on watching Dragon Ball anime wherever you left, and you can brag about it on social media and then the Channel's twitter account would show your post on live TV during dragon ball's air time (no joke, this truly happens in Mexico https://www.deviantart.com/saiya6cit/ar ... -976596511) ....
They show about 3-4 episodes, sometimes just two, or one, or none... if there is a match from Mexico's soccer's team...
There was a time last year that there would be DB, then DBZ then DB Super and after super they aired DBGT.

Looks like Adult Swim LA is aware of Daima.
Curiously enough, in their upcoming January schedule, there is a program with the placeholder name of "AS Premiere" set to air on January 20 at 9PM (ARG-CHI time).
I can't guarantee anything but that program could be Daima.

The Latin American Spanish dub of Dragon Ball Daima hasn't been announced yet, or has it?Tian wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 11:51 am Looks like Adult Swim LA is aware of Daima.

And given that Adult Swim LA has premiered and aired some series subbed like Ninja Kamui, there's the chance that this will apply to Daima as well (at least, for the initial airing).

Re: Dragon Ball broadcast on Adult Swim LatAm channel.
I'm not sure if the news was legit, but at one point it was reported Daniel Castañeda said in an interview with Produ that Daima would be dubbed by May this year for release in October.Tian wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 2:21 pmNot yet.TechExpert2021 wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2024 12:10 pm The Latin American Spanish dub of Dragon Ball Daima hasn't been announced yet, or has it?

The source is no longer live, but based on various reports Daniel Castañeda said:
Assuming these are genuinely Castañeda's words it would line up nicely for this "AS PREMIERE" January 2025 listing to indeed be the debut for Dragon Ball Daima on traditional TV in Latin America.“Usually all the productions we have are first released in Japan and about six months later, we release them internationally because we wait until we have 26 episodes to start dubbing and so on, and then we can release them in other territories. This is the first time we’re going to release a series worldwide at the same time. The production is already underway, and I estimate that we will have it finished around May 2024. We go into dubbing for worldwide release in October 2024 and For broadcast TV, we’re most likely going to release it in January 2025”.

Re: Dragon Ball broadcast on Adult Swim LatAm channel.
It's official. From now on, the TV home of the Dragon Ball franchise will exclusively be Adult Swim since Warner Channel's Wanimé block will cease airing on January 1, 2025.
It wasn't surprising they finally decided to shut Wanimé down as there was no new content since six months ago and Dragon Ball Z was the only anime airing on it.
