Everything else felt rushed (ToP, Beerus saga) or just not as good (U6 tournament). RoF and Broly aren't even covered.

But I liked some of the concepts introduced in the manga that the anime didn't, like having Gowasu attempting to reason with his apprentice and the difference in stuffing up the Mafuba jar. Infinite Zamasu is the better end villain though.
I have the opposite opinion, I think the manga improves on U6 and the ToP (BoG was unnecessary on both ends) and while the Zamasu arc may be more consistent and logically sound in the manga regarding its plot structure, the anime had such higher highs and provided a much more entertaining version of Goku Black, with a more poignant ending to the arc, that I tend to prefer it.

That's a pretty reductive view of things. Enjoy what you want by all means but that's like saying a movie adaptation of a book is inherently better because it has visuals.

They're different mediums with their own feel and pacing.
Inherently better? No, I didn't say inherently better.

But I'd be lying if I said that I don't find Anime more enjoyable and entertaining than Manga. Call me superficial if you like, but I find it more entertaining when there's voice acting, a ost, and coloured and moving visuals.

This isn't to say that I dislike Manga, but... look, if what I said is far-fetched, they wouldn't even bother making animated adaptations.
At his core Zamasu is good like Shin, though I guess you could say he was so fastidious that it backfired. But you know, for this "Future Trunks Arc" you had to depict Zamasu and Trunks' inner conflict, right? If this was back when I was drawing the manga myself then I doubt if I could have done it. I mean, I'm not very good at depicting the characters' psychology on the page. So this all came together because now I only have to think up the story. [...] On my own, I doubt I would have been able to express Zamasu's fall to the dark side.

The manga is more consistent and has less stupid moments, but it feels too safe imo.

Something I liked about the anime is that Super was not afraid to go balls to the wall some times.

Except for Jiren, most of the characters feel a bit more alive in the anime, and more menacing.

Goku Black is a menace from the moment he was introduced, he felt more menacing than Merged Zamasu even.

Hit utilized his powers in such an interesting way his battles reminded me more of JoJo than Dragon Ball.

Caulifla is literally female Goku.

All of these neat characterization moments are things the manga lacked a bit for me.

And don't get me started on the use of UI the anime gave it more justice. It turned Goku into a force of nature, it felt different even when he was not winning, the manga made it just another form.
I really miss ma boy, Black :(

Kale got character development in the anime, while in the manga she didn't get anything. That is an example were the anime does better.

However I prefer DBS manga writing over DBS anime, since there are way less bad writing in the manga.
