I'm fairly certain whoever is the Spanish translator for dragon ball has gone off the rails trying to push his own agenda. They add Goku's name here, and the spanish version of el manga legendario has multiple mistranslated lines that push the Gotenks/Gohan>Goku and Super Buu>Kid buu narratives. I'm not saying those are necessarily wrong opinions to hold, but this/these spanish translator/s have taken it upon themself/themselves as an authority on dragon ball and trying to change guides to tell others about the series, when that is not their job. Their job is to translate.

So exactly like Toei writers and their several added statements about Kid Buu's supposed strength that are not present in the manga...

They add Goku's name here, and the spanish version of el manga legendario has multiple mistranslated lines that push the Gotenks/Gohan>Goku and Super Buu>Kid buu narratives. Well unless someone from back then comes out and adresses what went into translating and adapting these statements and descriptions, we will never know the real truth and if they really were having an agenda.

At least it's an agenda, that is logically consistent with the manga's narrative, so they got going for them..

As it is the franchise evidently can't fathom a main character not being the ABSOLUTE STRONGEST HERP DERP, so they seem to have established in the wider franchise outside of Toriyama's narrative, Goku and consequently Kid Buu are somehow above everyone before except Vegetto...
Because it totally makes sense to also have Vegeta now be in awe of SSJ 2 Goku vs Kid Buu too, when last time we checked, they were even in power and even before that Toei writers had Goku and Vegeta fending off Ultimate Gohan and SSJ 3 Gotenks somehow, while only using SSJ at best...

This doesn't even have to be so unearned, you can make in universe reasons for the two to go beyond their previously established levels, but Toei writers preferred to just write propaganda level statements instead of actually justifying the added dialogue..
Just another case of appealing to the lowest common denominator and calling everything the greatest ever without putting in the legwork for the attentive viewer to actually buy the hot air they are selling

The people at Toei at least have direct lines to Toriyama and his editor and are a part of the crew making the material, but yes, the add in their own stuff at times.

We actually do know Goku’s name as added as that is literally just the same bio for Gotenks that is in the Daizenshuu, and I’ve seen the raws themselves and it says “Vegeta and others” nothing about Goku.
