Guess I'll be watching it on Netflix then, as I already have a subscription.

I did a search but couldn't find any info on whether or not the dub will be on there. I'm guessing it won't be added until after the theatrical screenings in the US.

Maybe my worries are wrong but with all these streaming services having Daima ... Netflix included... doesn't that mean a home media release is less likely now? Like take Power Rangers Beast Morphers -Cosmic Fury. All these shows on Netflix are exclusive and thus l lack a home media release.

So could that happen here or no?

Knowing CR, they will probably release it on Blu-ray.

Yeah, for Dragon Ball I'm sure there will be a 4K/Blu-Ray.

Look at Star Wars, The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor eventually got home releases, despite being Disney+ exclusives for a while.

Dragon Ball fans likewise love physical media, I certainly do.

It is very likely to be released on Blu Ray, Sony is one of the last companies that still has a strong support for physical media.

Makes sense because Sony created the Blu-Ray format.

Just checked the upcoming releases for Hulu and if you scroll down to October 11th Dragon Ball Daima is listed.

And in Italy on the same date its coming to Amazon Prime.

So seems like Daima will be on all the major streaming platforms. Only one remaining I can think of that hasn't been announced is Disney+, but maybe it will be available there as Disney own Hulu now.

These are one of the greatest news of this year. The Dragon Ball franchise being simultaneously in almost every major streaming platform.

Thanks! I'm gonna add those to the list right now.

Now my question is will Netflix always be a week behind?

I live in Australia and want to watch as soon as the first simuldub drops. From what I'm seeing Crunchyroll will be the only option for that at least for the first week. I don't really want to sub to them for just the first week though.

Latin Spanish dub has been confirmed for Daima, this is the second language for which a dub has been confirmed.

They give one week free for premium account.

Sorry, I didn't see the date in the tweet,

I think it has to be removed from the dub list for now.

Okay, I removed the list. I'll wait for 2 or more dubs other than English to be announced.

Simulcast meaning that episode will be on Crunchyroll one hour after it airs, right?

Yes; Crunchyroll simulcasts are usually an hour after an anime's original Japanese premiere. In the case of Daima, since it'll air at 11:40 PM JST on October 11, the Crunchyroll simulcast would be on October 12, 12:40 AM.

This is slightly off. We'd get it 11:40AM (EST) on Friday morning (so still October 11th).

Out of curiosity, does this mean that Daima coming to Cartoon Network in the States is probably not happening?

Cartoon Network in the United States doesn't air anime anymore. Given their current programming lineup and daily broadcast schedule, it is very unlikely that they'll go back to airing anime again.

I don't think Daima will air on Adult Swim, given the fact that it'll be available on Netflix after October 19. I may be wrong, though.
