Actually I would love the idea of playing with/fighting against a character with a phantom limb. Ita remind me of the Venture Brothers

Yeah but the thing is that's cool for a character intentionaly designed like that, ie you'd rather play as a character with a phantom limb rather then Gohan with one.

I actually have a Darkstalkers character design lying around somewhere that's in a similar vein, where the idea was the individual themselves wouldn't do any attacks but spirits around them would, ie the character themselves could only move in directions while all the attacks would be various spirits (like a different one for each thing, one for punches, one for kicks, one for blocking, etc)

To further confirm the fact that Future Gohan is an alternate costume, if you look at his display picture, it is the same as Older Gohan in the present.

Not entirely. The game is still somewhat in development. I recall seeing Freezer form 1's headshot once on a preproduction shot of his fourth form in battle, and, Hell, Mortal Kombat Deception had Sub-Zero's mug for Ermac!

Boxart....

...looks like crappy fan-art/tracings just like all the other US boxarts (cept B2 US boxart was pretty good/decent)

*Looks at boxart* Oh my goodness, is that Freeza attaining the 5th form of his kind? That looks so cool... And how did Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo come back to live? I thought it was impossible to wish people who died more than a year ago to come back. Ah, nevermind, Future Trunks could just go back for help...

Meh. It's not as bad as the Super DBZ cover art. Not much better, though. Hopefully Europe'll keep up its trend of getting the Japanese box art, 'cause it'll probably be better than this...

Wouldn't Gogeta count as a trace of Gokuu?

And it's totally better than the first Shin Budokai's "porn star" Gokuu ^^

I have a thought about the title. Shin Budokai Another Road makes it seem like a diffrent part of the story of Shin Budokai. Shin Budokai was based on Movie 12's plot with Janemba and all the villans escaping from hell. Could part of the plot be Movie 12 happening in Future Trunks' timeline? It would explain Gogeta on the boxart, as dead Goku and Vegeta could fuse to become Gogeta. It would also explain Piccolo, Broli, and Coola as they'd be able to escape from hell, and they'd probably stick Piccolo in hell for things he did in the past, like with Vegeta, and since he goes to hell when he dies in GT. Just a thought, it might not be true but...

That art...is kinda fugly. Oh well, it's the game itself that counts and I'll be sure to get it on day one like the first one. If you'd like, I'd be happy to put up a little review of it like I did with the first game last year.

*Looks carefully* Well, guess you were right.

Without the horns, armour sholder pads and combind with the blurring thought, it really looks like Freeza attained the 5th form of his kind. And even thought, I thought it was Movie 12 in Future Trunks time, it was stated that the plot was Majin Buu in Future Trunks time, so since Goku and Vegeta could not win against Majin Buu in Future Trunks time, maybe they fuse to fight him?

The resolution is probably a bit lower for World Map parts of the game.
