I'm hoping it's more like the Budokai 3 story with more hidden routes.

It's the basic poster for the BT3 game saying how NEO!(BT2) surpassed Sparking!(BT1) and that METEOR(BT3) will surpass even that (Basically this is a play on the SSJ transformation quote that Goku said to Boo).

Page 2: http://www.imagehack.eu/uploads/31f4a4bae8.jpg

Bacially it's mentioning the Z Burst Dash, Blast Combo System, Sonic Sway, and Z Counter.

Page 3: http://www.imagehack.eu/uploads/9471e9085f.jpg

Says that 160 characters from Dragonball, Dragon Ball Z, GT, and the Movies will appear.
*I do remember a small Weekly Jump scan that mention 161 characters so I guess 160 is estimate right now.

Page 4: http://www.imagehack.eu/uploads/e4cd746d9b.jpg

Talks about the Dragon History Mode, which will be the story mode of the game. It will feature story arcs of the Saiya-jin Arc all the way to the Main Boo Arc, as well arcs from GT and TV Specials. The "In Battle Quotes" will be a feature only for Dragon History mode, basically your pretty much making the "cut-scene" by your battles by recreating the scenes and conversations they had when the characters fought.(Probably Spikes way to give them less work by not making a lot of cut-scenes).

Also talks about the Disk Fusion system.

Page 5: http://www.imagehack.eu/uploads/05a19a5d27.jpg

This page is basically BandaiNamco bragging how many games they sold in Japan.

The "Z Series"(Budokai Series) sold about 1,750,000 copies
The "Sparking Series"(Budokai Tenkaichi) so far has sold about 1,260,000 copies

They are expecting big numbers for the 3rd installment.

Mentions that:
-160 characters
-30 stages
-10 game modes

On the bottom of the page you see all the promotion stuff that they are releasing.
*The disk is nothing more than a Promotion DVD not a Demo disk.

Page 6: http://www.imagehack.eu/uploads/29f2be49a9.jpg

Mentions that the promotion item that comes with game this time is a Shenron Keychain.

It's the Promotion schedule in Japan.

In the month of August, we should see a TV Commercial, more info from V-Jump

Of the week of 9/21, we will get info on the game from V-Jump, Weekly Shonen Jump, and Famitsu.

On September 20-23, it will make it's appearance at the Tokyo Game Show.

Well thats it.

Very cool. I didn't even know they had full images of each character on the cover available.

I like Vegeta and Piccolo's best in full image.
On hiatus.

The "Battle Quotes" in "Dragon History" mode seems like a really neat gimmick. I'm glad they're doing away with the cut-scenes. Sparking's! graphics never really seems to suit them.

I'm still not quite clear on what the story mode is or how it works...

If "battle quotes" is what it sounds like, then it's something I wanted. Yay! Though I can't say I don't expect weird things to come of it.

... But Nappa had better ask Vegeta about Goku's power level.

I'm pretty sure it'll be the same as Sparking! NEO minus cut scenes. One thing I hated though was how they had text conversations before each fight initated, but with the battle quotes, that'll hopefully be eliminated. That's pretty what Sparking! NEO's story mode pretty much was. The Dragon World overview was nice, but ultimately served very little purpose.

Me thinks it was there just to make it look more like Budokai3. I hear it didn't succeed?

Yeah, they just wanted to copy B3 (as they're doing even more now with gameplay elements). Sadly for them, they did a bad job imitating the overworld.

Both you are correct. The overworld was much better in Budokai 3, though it'll be a matter of time when DBO's overworld will blow them out of the water.

So is it continuous battle now? Cause with no cut screen, it is just battles, battles, battles. That really sounds crappy.

That's how it was in the last game as well. Text Interaction, Battle, Text Interaction, Battle, Text Interaction, Battle, etc., They're were very few cutscenes in between & what there was, is really crappy anyways. I don't mind continuous battles cause' that's what the game boils down to.

Well, it'd be very easy to make a "I played SF2 today and pretty much every battle had to be played differently" comment here, but that'd be approaching bad taste...

Budokai-esque cutscenes would be friendly. :(.

Though, judging by the fact that Babidi is a playable character, and this may have something to do with the story mode, ... maybe it has something to do with how scenes are handled?

[edit] Bleargh, finally got the Babidi Vs Nail video to work, only to hear nothing but music. Umm... does anything interesting happen besides Babidi using his minions as attacks?[/edit]

iit is gonna be great, but if they include characters as insignificant as appule, and that bearded henchman of freeza, and also spopovich, i feel they should include all the rest of the shadow dragons also, and also Hirudegarn's and Nova shenron's first forms. Also android 14 and 15....or are they more interested in the original manga?

I'd rather they just disregard GT altogether.

Why? Sure it lacked as many great storys as Z but there were some characters that would be fantastic in a fighting game. I still want GT Trunks, GT Goten, Baby (not Baby Vegeta, just Baby) and Lord Luud.

I agree. While I didn't enjoy the stories, I think the characters would provide more diversity in this game, both in their designs and their attacks. Well, assuming that the developers would get creative with the attacks and use the characters' potential.
