Thanks. And maybe the demi-Saiyans and humans as "summonables" a la Maximum Carnage?

But yeah, it always flabbergasted me that DBZ was wrapping up at the height of the beat-em-up genre's success, back when it was HUGE, and they never made one. I cannot understand it.

Ever play the two D&D beat-em-ups? Those were genius. Or the truly drool-worthy six-player X-Men...

Hell, even the Simpsons had a good beat 'em up.

I like that game better than the Simpsons cartoon. ^_^

Ooh, can't forget the two TMNT games, which were pure genius...

Hell yes! Welcome to the D&D world!

Those games are the reason I adore my PSP. Using the Capcom and Neo Geo system board emulators, I often play those and similar games on the fly. It's all sorts of amazing.

And while we're reminiscing, the Spiderman and Avengers beat 'em ups rocked too. They weren't "X-Men" good, but then what was? Ever see the sort-of tie-in movie "Pryde of the X-Men?"
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

Yep. The Spidey game was fun (just about the only thing since the 60's to remember Namor's electric power) and so was the Avengers game, though it had wonderfully bad Engrish.

"Where is the laser?" "Ask the police!"

"Don't disturb us!" "Why should it goes well?"

PSP emulation, hmm? Well, mark that as another reason to find one used and cheap (also: X-Men Legends II with exclusive Nate Grey).

Can't mention everything. :)

Ever play Sunset Riders and Mystic Warriors by Konami? Not REALLY beat-em-ups but almost.

Wonder why they stopped making the genre...

Sometime we should all get together for a big "Dragonball and beat-em-ups" all-weekend party or something :D

Of course! The entry fee is some kind of sugar-rich candy to help keep us up all weekend (Twizzlers, Gummi Bears, Reese Sticks...)
