Just throwin' this out there; the song is called Through Her Eyes, by Dream Theater :)

*Youtubes song*

Oh yeah...I can definitely see this song fitting better and being more enjoyable then some randomly chosen disturbed song.

I'd watch it for the lulz. :D

Maybe the cover is double sided, and you get Trunks on one side and Bardock on the other.?

Hm, that's a fairly famous Trunks picture. Not a horrible choice, but I'm sorry they deviated from using the original promotional art. In all honesty, I would have opted for a see-through keep case with double-sided coverart.

In any case, no sale here. Same DVNR on two of my favorite pieces of DragonBall = sacrilege.

Occasionally over here in Australia, we don't get completely screwed over.

Not long ago there was a box set released containing the Trunks and Bardock special and Movie 13, it's super easy to grab also.

..Why don't I have a copy..

I just remembered I spent 70 dollars on DBGT..Curse my need for fullscreen Dbz..

Hmm, if you're talking about the song "through her eyes", I just meant I like the song in general....I still don't think it fits for DBZ.

There's one or two (unsubstantiated) rumors floating around that they'll be tossing in some re-dubbed voices in this release, such as Hebert replacing Daemon for adult Gohan. Anybody heard anything solid concerning this?

Sonny Strait redubbed his Bardock lines on the Season 3 set and apparently loves the role. What if he randomly decided to redub his work in the movie?

As much as I like his teen Gohan, I really hope Kyle hasn't redubbed over Dameon, all because of Kyle getting cast as Mirai Gohan in a few games. Dameon Clarke voicing the alternate Gohan shows a good emphasis, at least for the dub IMO, of how different Gohan grew up in this dark world. His voice is a bit deeper and less Wally Beaverish, very tough when he needs to be, and a straight up bad-ass that the present dub Gohan doesn't get close to until his latent powers are released by Elder Kaioshin. So yeah...careful with the redubbing, FUNi. If there's no Dameon or dub w/t Japanese BGM, this release is worthless as far as I'm concerned.

I'm with you there, Conan. Kyle keeps us updated on his current projects on his site and he hasn't said anything about re-dubbing Future Gohan yet. He's also mentioned that he recently recorded narrator for the Cell sagas and didn't mention re-dubbing Trunks' flash back featuring Future Gohan either. So it's looking good so far, but I still have that fear in the back of my mind. Like you I aint hatin' on Kyle, he's one of my faves, but I like the alternate future version having a different voice to go along with his different looks and character.

Where did you here this from? If you told me would you have to kill me?

Anyway, I really liked the tune that played at the very end of Funi's Bardock, post his death when he's talking to Goku; his head band floating. But yeah, I hope this release contains the Japanese music as well.

But does that really ensure that the image songs are gonna be in the special when you're playing the dub with the Japanese BGM? I mean, I remember the "remastered" episodes replaced the times there were stuff like image songs with just plain silence.

From ToonZone:
As for the tin collection packaging, Sheehan joked, "We found out that shiny equals sales. Who knew?"

Well, it looks like the tin cover has been confirmed. I'm guessing when they say "tin" they mean like an actual tin box and not just something like a tin colored DVD cover (I'm asking since I've never really seen a tin box for a DVD release other than the occasional season set). I'm assuming it'll be something like those releases of the classic Disney DVD releases (if anyone's familiar with those)?

Also, should I be insulted be that shiny = sales comment? Though as much as I hate to say it, cover art actually does effect my purchase.

I'm a newb on print sizes and such, but I'd assume the TV specials were done on whatever the TV series was done. Makes sense to me anyway. :?

Nice. I was going to pick this up anyway, considering I don't have either of the TV Specials on DVD, but that's pretty cool that they are actually going to insert the Japanese BGM with English voices, unlike the Brolly double-feature.
