I know, I do the same. I dunno where I would be if I had to use a mouse!

If I draw on paper it sucks, but if I use a tablet and draw in Photoshop, where I can undo anything and move anything around that looks wrong, then it turns out much better than anything I could draw otherwise.

SaiyaMel: For the most part, it's mainly the frontal genitals that can't be shown. Many times though the animators get away with very thin blurred, mosaic, or black strips over just one area of said sexual organ, so most of it is actually still shown. Funnily enough, breasts aren't censored much and neither is the anus. A lot of it is because the laws governing the censoring aren't very specific.

Oh and I see how that can indeed appear to be an anus, especially if the video quality is very poor. XD

For the most part, at least. Breasts, butts and non-erect penises are allowed in children's entertainment, but it's not like anything goes. We just have a more relaxed attitude towards sexuality, that's all.

I think it's just that some beleive that it is morally wrong to be looking at someone's naked body or private parts. There's nothing wrong with having those veiws and if you want to raise your children on similar morals, there should be no problem with that either.

I don't know what's going on in this topic but I never cared about the nudity in the series when I first saw I actually thought the part when Kuririn pulled down Bulma's shirt to get blood from Muten Roshi was hilarious, but I was 14 or so when I first started watching the series unedited so that might have had something to do with it. I will say the digi-paint edits were stupid though even when I first started watching in 1997/'98.

Well, the standards in America are rapidly changing. A lot of things are becoming more acceptable. In this case it might take a little longer for the nudity rules in "children's" animation to become more lenient. For example, they showed Bart's dick in the Simpson's Movie. Now, I know the conditions are different (it's a movie, the Simpson's is not a "children's" show) but everybody knows that kids love the Simpsons and that they were going to see the movie, yet, the writers left in Bart's little member.

They show butt cheeks all the time on cartoons. So, it'll only be a matter of time before people can walk around naked and not be harassed.

And yes, those two things are related.

Either way, I've personally always found the attitude that "naked human body = pure evil" to be incredibly primitive and immature thinking.

Wouldn't "primitive" thinking be the thinking of humans before clothing was even invented? Back when we all wandered around butt-naked, hunting for boar with rocks and hooting at each other and nobody cared about being naked unless you got sunburned nipples and/or testicles?

What scar? It's completely forgotten that e ever had a tail in DBZ. They don't exactly do scars like that. Vegeta had scars... But then they disappeared during the Buu Saga. Somehow unless it's something big and obvious (and not on someone's ass), they forget about scars, moles, and birthmarks.

I wander if there was originally an anus there and was edited out, then...seeing as any of versions in Japanese i have seen of Dragonball - the scene of Bulma's tits after Krillin pulled her top down, is VERY brief..like a split second. it's as though most of that scene was removed to air on Japanese TV?
