OK, since everybody and their mother is doing this, I will provide my "history" with Anime during my Middle/High School years.
In '98, when DBZ was first starting to be big, I knew a few people who knew what it was, not too big a crowd. But there was one person who liked DBZ almost as much as I did back in the day. His name is Randy Peirson, and the last time I saw him, he was going to my former-High School, Elkton Christian High, and I have no bloody clue if he Graduated from there, or even still lives in Elkton.
When High School came around, People knew what it was, but they weren't "into" Anime, as the only two people I met who even "liked" Anime were both Goths. Brother and Sister, black/red hair, black clothes, the whole sha-bang.
