That's the DB/Kochi-Kame crossover that was made a few years back in celebration of Kochi-Kame's nine millionth anniversary.

I'm rather skeptical of that page. What source does it give for saying that everything is X number of years after Dr. Slump, or that they're regarded as being in the same continuity?
Maybe they're part of the same continuity simply because they're all gag-manga.

As for years, Wonder Island takes place in 1979, so unless Dr. Slump indicates that it ended in 1977 (in the story, not publication), that right there shows that it can't be two years later. Regardless, we know the following are part of the same continuity (excluding intentional and unintentional plotholes):

-Awawa World: Raudo cameos in Slump, DB Special, and Neko Majin.
-Wonder Island: Pagos and Gara appear in Wonder Island 2. Need a pic of the caveman that gave Arale and Senbei Gatchan's egg in order to confirm if he's Piman from Wonder Island. A similar Angel also appears in Wonder Island.
-Dr Slump: Penguin Village is in the Dragon World, many one-shots have Dr Slump tie-ins.
-POLA and ROID: King Nikochan and his servant attack their ship. They run away scared after meeting Pola, whom Roid had dressed up as Arale.
-Dragonball: Penguin Village is in the Dragon World, many characters show up in NMZ, a Raudo appears in the recent special.
-Neko Majin: The Raudo appear in NM 2.
-Neko Majin Mike: Same continuity as Neko Majin and NMZ.
-Neko Majin Z: A Raudo appears in NMZ 3, various characters appear throughout the series, takes place after the 28th Budokai.

Is there any sort of source of Ghurd being a Bas-jin? It could be fanon, I suppose, but there doesn't seem to be any source even though a lot of the 'trusted' sites back in the day had it listed as fact.

It's spread like wildfire by now but does it have any basis in canon or filler at all?

The only thing I saw was a crappy RPG (à la D&D) licensed by FUNi. It lasted three books: Saiyan Saga, Namek Saga, Android Saga. In the Namek Saga, it had a race list that mentioned Guldo as a Bas-jin.
