I’m not, actually. Although I’d love to see that, Dragon Ball hasn’t been able to catch a break here in America. It has nothing to prove in Japan, and most people stateswide wouldn’t end up seeing something like that. I want it to be able to defy its stereotype as (to paraphrase another poster) “a testosterone-driven kiddy fest” and stand up to the same standards held for other good stories.

She's still smart, and it's gonna be kickass if she gets to put those brains of hers to some tactical use. It'd be hilarious to see her and Yamcha defending themselves against a horde of Fulum, and Bulma actually saving Yamcha's skin once or twice. I'm looking forward to the idea of her and Chi-Chi possibly teaming up against Mai.
Bulma hasn’t spoken a word in any of the material we’ve seen. She basically just has guns. There isn’t anything to suggest her spunkiness, intelligence, or resourcefulness, or anything really other than that she brandishes projectile weaponry.
1) An eclipse. This may have something to do with releasing Piccolo, or it may have a more "traditional" role as far as lunar activity is concerned in DragonBall and have some effect on Goku. We don't know yet.
I thought the former was already confirmed through the early casting call sheets and the movie the novel.

Sooooo NOT fact.
I loved
Speed Racer; although I wasn’t a diehard fan I think the Wachowskis did an excellent job of capturing the essence of the animé onto the big screen. I do agree with omega though, and would only change the phrasing to “not as many people like it as they do Iron Man.” American super-heroes will always do better in America than Eastern super-heroes. The climate might shift slightly as future generations will have grown up with more and more imported media, but all in all, homemade characters have been here longer; they already have an established identity, and that’s tough to compete with.

That close?
Anyway, I’d like for us not to repeat the same arguments we’ve been having for months now, because that just drives home the point that we can’t have civil discussions here.
