Oh wow, I really must not have seen that. Major thanks. I know what I'll be watching fifty-two times over now. :D

They've been remastering the entire series so far in 'the old season one ways' this entire time. The 'quality' of each set varies due to the film that FUNi has to play with, and whether or not the folks who are responsible for this 'remastering' process decides to crank up or tone down the brightness and contrast levels. Videophiles Corey, and Acid_Rain should be able to elaborate upon this subject in a much more informative way if you have any questions.
We all know who's fault it is though...that bitch Steve Franco. I'm sick of his "Hmm, i think i'll fuck DBZ this season" then his "Actually, lets make it look fairly nice on this season." Him and his fucking mood swings.
Yeesh, it's a children's animated program dude. No need to throw around personal insults.

Go to say, I prefer Ginyu Transformation playing. Then again, that song owns whenever it plays.

Bleh, I hate to say it but this Box Set looks like a huge step backwards from the past few sets.

Let me ask to anyone who has this already...Where did you pre-order from? Deep Discount? Rightstuf? I'd like to cancel my order on Amazon and order to get it sooner.

I just did a search on Youtube to see what you were talking about.

It's probably one of the better dub tracks I've heard..but it still suffers from Faulconer syndrome, where 80% of the song is just some wailing incoherent synth noise, occasionally breaking into a character theme tune.

Gozar, the guy that i buy from ( I have season seven from this guy ) says that he gets his stock from Amazon. So you might be better off just sticking to amazon.

Oh come on, the set will be in stores everywhere within a mere week or two (?) Patience, young grasshoppah.

I got mine from Rightsuf, and I'll be posting up the opening and ending soon, next post I should have them up then. The opening and ending in motion doesn't look too different from the screenshots I took, this set is way too satruated, and I can see grains :O.

Say, how accurate is the dub in this season anyhow?

Again, thanks for the SSj2 Gohan clip.

Think we can get one of the Paikuhan fight (same audio)? 8)

So long as a bunch of 12 year olds with ADD remember that 20% as being edgy and memorable, I'm fine with that.

For me, that song has always filled me with euphoria you might say, weird as it sounds. Heck, in my younger days when watching it alone, would sometimes move hands in a conductor-like way to the beats.

He's better than Mark Menza although a lot of people would never admit it.
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

If we're all here for a reason then I'm just visiting.

Strangest thing is, I enjoyed a lot of Menza's Movie scores. But his GT was just terrible.

I suppose your right there, thinking about it, i kind of enjoyed *some* of them. But still, he has nothing on Faulconer.

Yeah, I found Movie's 6, 9, & 12 to be very enjoyable scores. So apparently every 3 Movies since Menza started on them were good :P

At least IMO.
