... at any rate, you can't yell "formula" and "filler" in the same argument... as I think formulaicness is way less apparent without taking in the movies... and the movies lack the thirty-minute powerups, multi-episode beam struggles and "five minutes = five hours" bs.
Characters certainly aren't shallow or stagnant (The dub doesn't help in this matter, though...).
Transformations get old.
The series consists of more than Vegeta Freeza Cell and Buu (And I'm not talking about Broli.
