How much of it does he say? I can only make out a "HA!!!"
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

In all honesty, Schemmel was pretty bad back then...but not now.

I agree; Mr. Schemmel's really improved in his post-DB work. (Well, what I've seen of it).
He's definitely been trying to escape the perils of stock-casting by playing villains instead of heroes lately.

Huh? Piccolo actually looks green in this trailer. Or maybe the low quality of the vid made it look so, it also made the trailer look awesome! Am I right, guys?
POUND IT!

The trailers not showing up on my computer, which sucks because you all seem fairly psyched up about it. Is their an alternative source where I can view it?

It looks much better than the first unofficial trailer we were presented with. I was going to go see the movie either way, but now it looks like I'll have more incentive to.

It's said during the first 5 seconds or so, and you can hear the Japanese commentators saying something about it right after the last "ha".
I don't want to say much about this. I really don't. It's bad quality, short, a few scenes are repeated from the "not real" trailer (pretty unchanged from what I can tell, too), and a few of the new scenes are repeated too. So I'd like to reserve bold proclamations for when a more clear version of this is shown.
That being said... I can surmise a few things here... I'm glad Piccolo seems green, but at the same time he's point that sword at me... I'm getting a Bulletproof Monk-esque vibe off Yun Fat, and his fight with Chatku in particular...
The name cards are back. Guess it was more than just catering to the apathetic licensing folk.
And I don't really understand the fangasming over Piccolo's explosion. It looks exactly like any other a-bomb recreation featured on the History channel, from what little is shown.

Uh we're fangasming because after seeing the first "trailor" anything after it will look like fucking Jesus in comparison.

Thank you very much Kendamu
First of all, major points for Piccolo's ship being put in THAT makes it feel like a Dragonball movie. As mentioned previously Piccolo destroying the city was also very cool. I'm indeed glad to see the Dragonballs looking exactly like their anime counterparts.
Did Chi Chi shoot a KI beam from a gun or was I just seeing that wrong? The slow down effect is really the only thing that made me face palm in the trailer, I sincerely hope they don't over use it.
As far as I'm concerned this Mai is cool so long as you see her as an original character who happens to share the name of Pilaf's henchman from the manga/anime.
Overall this trailer gives me a lot more hope for this movie then that old one with the horribly arranged scenes and bad cliche' music.
PS.
Looks like green Piccolo did indeed make it in.

I thought the two and a half pages of renewed optimism would be buffer enough to protect the sensitive types against my mean ol' comments. I suppose I could've waited til tomorrow for the fangasm to subside, but I'm just cruel like that.

Looks more like the anime visually with Piccolo destroying the city on his ship and all. I agree with the sentiment that Yun-Fat reminds me too much of his Bulletproof Monk flick.

And if there were people talking about Star Wars, saying "Aw man! They really nailed space! That space really looked impressive! I'm so going to see this movie for space!" then I'd have issue with them, too.

I'm sorry, but this quote had me loling.
Second, this "trailer" looked nuts. They appeared to go Special effects crazy, which isn't necessarily bad. The slow mo stuff is definitely a sign that Stephen Chow had more to do with this then we thought cause all his movies have ridiculous slow mo shots of people being punched and kicked in the head.
I think it looks better, but I, like most, want to see the high quality official trailer even more so now.

Question!
If this does air with in Japan with TDTWSS on the 18th, does that mean FoxMovies Japan will put it up on their site?
