Dude your so funny, that's what I usually say. I was one day like a year ago, I dreamed that I went to the forum and saw that there was finally a DBGT soundtrack and I was all excited, then I woke up.kenisu3000 wrote:All of them? As in... I'm too used to disappointment in this area, so I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope the world doesn't end before you're able to upload them.
Well, I ain't kidding.Super 17 wrote:Dude your so funny, that's what I usually say. Yeah I know how that feels. For some reason the unreleased music for DBZ is my least favorite out of the three series. The unreleased music for the original DB is really good, I hope we can get those too in the future.kenisu3000 wrote:Well, I ain't kidding.I've had multiple dreams of that sort, except I'm pretty sure it was the entire series' music, not just GT. Waking up from those dreams, when it's something you so desperately want, is really emotionally draining.
Well, we should get all the unreleased music from the movies, but there will still be a few unreleased tracks that weren't in the movies and are still unreleased.SSj_Rambo wrote:I love the added movie footage at the end of the Movie 6 video! And this is wonderful news! I can't wait until the day comes when we can own every bit of unreleased BGM from the anime.
Yeah, I know.Super 17 wrote:Well, we should get all the unreleased music from the movies, but there will still be a few unreleased tracks that weren't in the movies and are still unreleased.SSj_Rambo wrote:I love the added movie footage at the end of the Movie 6 video! According to kenisu300's notes there are 6 unreleased themes still. By the way Kenisu, I can't find Gohan's slow theme, here is my youtube low quality video I did like almost a year ago, it's the second BGM in the video.SSj_Rambo wrote:Yeah, I know. But at least this way we'll have a majority of that music, and the rest will probably be available via the season sets.
Cool, I was just confused with your notes, but I see that you wanted to get finished first and then correct them. I hope I didn't piss you off Kenisu, which wasen't my intention, I was just confused. Your notes are really (... 5 seconds) appreciated, thanks for your work.kenisu3000 wrote:These are things that I became aware of only after I was about halfway through with my written notes, and the reason why I didn't change it right then and there was because I would have to go back and find every instance of that track in every episode, and correct each little mistake. I wanted to just run through the entire thing first, even with the mistakes, so that on my second draft, I could forget about all the rightly-identified BGM and concentrate solely on correcting the errors and unknowns. One thing I want to take care of, along with the Apples For Gohan! fiasco and We Were Angels sped-up business, is finally learning how to take all of those funny little jingles and repetitive themes that we hear every time a character is watching TV, listening to a radio, or watching an exercise video, and discern them from each other. It's those little things that drive me bonkers.
Same with the fact that I know most, if not all, of the Title Card BGM from the original DragonBall is actually unreleased, instead of at the beginning of Disc 4, Track 14 of the 5-disc set. I'm saving the corrections for that on my next draft, which hopefully will be my last.
Who said I was pissed?Super 17 wrote:Cool, I was just confused with your notes, but I see that you wanted to get finished first and then correct them. Wow I never noticed that, maybe because I don't hear the BGM's from the 5-disc, except only for DB. That's so true there is a difference in that BGM. It is extended it in the seconds 21-23 of that track. Nice notice.kenisu3000 wrote:One other irksome little thing that I want to take care of are all the alternate compositions, which I also became aware of only after I was well into my notes. The alternates are different versions of the same piece that Shunsuke Kikuchi composed for a movie scene, and for whatever reason, they decided to go with the one and drop the other... but sometimes the "dropped" piece shows up in the episodes, and is only slightly different from the more familiar version. For example, "Garlic Jr.'s Henchmen Introduce Themselves," from Movie 1, has an alternate, and both versions are on CD (one is on the 5-disc set, and the other replaces it on the BGM Collection, mistakenly using the same M-number), and they both also play in the episodes as well
Not quite yet, at least not to my knowledge. The only rips I've been able to find among this cluster of YouTube users are Movies 1, 2, 3 (part 1 and 2), 6, and 12 (part 1 and 2).Levlik wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89cGmfxOBSE
Wait, is there a complete movie 13 rip I'm unaware of?
They actually finished and posted Movie 1's unreleased BGM about two weeks ago.Arcwave wrote:Man I can't wait for movie 1. Nice job on this!!!
Actually Movies 1-3 original DragonBall never had laserdisc. So were screwed.SSj_Rambo wrote:Do you mean Dragonball Movie 1? Because I'm not even sure if that got a LaserDisc release, which would make rips of the unreleased BGM pretty hard and low-quality...Arcwave wrote:Man I can't wait for movie 1. Nice job on this!!!
Yeah, and those are stuffed with unreleased music.Super 17 wrote:Actually Movies 1-3 original DragonBall never had laserdisc. So were screwed.SSj_Rambo wrote:Do you mean Dragonball Movie 1?
