Dragon Ball Z: Movies 12 and 13 Discussion.

Two of my favourite DragonBall Z movies on one (Blueray) disc is going to be awesome. It reminds me of back in the day when I had both these movies on one VHS tape.

For me, it felt the most like the kind of movie you would see at the cinema, rather than just on TV like the other movie. That's not to say I wouldn't see the others at the cinema, movie 13 just felt more like a proper movie, with actual character focus and stuff like that.

Hell, the beginning of Movie 13 after the intro plays out just like the beginning of a movie. It's a high-speed car chase scene, with additional credits being shown.

I also can't wait for this one either. They're my 2 favorite movies, and the Funi singles looked awful and did the animation no justice.

Same here. Something about the singles' release was just hard on the eyes. Can't wait to see well how the remastering and better encode treat these two movies.

In addition, I rather like the dub of 12. Having it with the original music will be a treat.

I have a question about these DVD's. Will they play on a regular DVD player/Xbox 360?

If it's a DVD, yes. If it's a Blu-ray, no.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if they were HDDVD or not...but now I actually realize that they stopped making those.
