Calling people names over a cartoon? Not exactly the best way to express yourself.

Nobody felt the need to alte Frodo's look, past, and character to make him easier to relate to. Did they?

I don't know what everyone in this Karate Kid/Teen Wolf collaboration flick thread is so worked up over. This seriously looks to be a promising entry into both series.

Yeah I agree with that. But I have to say, I tend to reach for the marvel flicks from last year before TDK.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

Any credibility you had is now lost.

These movie adaptions out there cannot all be defended with "Well it's an alternate universe" or "Well it's an adaption"

If that's the case then there's no need for discussion period. But it's not the case, the fact is we're getting a movie that's based off of DragonBall. Yet the characters do not resemble the characters they are supposed to be based off of. If that doesn't bother you then that's your business. But don't try to brush off negative opinions and being a retarded fanboy when you yourself cannot even intelligently debate this without throwing such childish insults.

What? You mean based on the fact that the movie isn't even out?

So....if he didn't hit his head, it's not really "Goku", is it? It's more like "Kakarrotto".

I still haven't found anything that endears me to him, or makes me like Chatku in any way. :(

Do we have any proof yet whether or not Chatku's got the bump?

What does a bump have to do with anything? Are not the excuses for not liking the movie getting a little silly?

Erm, I think she means the "bump" on the head that reversed series-Goku's personality. It seems absent in the movie, wherein Goku has just been raised as he is.

He is Kakarotto, trained to hide his powers and be polite.

I'm still not buying Chatku.

Only because people are still trying to justify not liking the movie to people who won't listen to rational answers like, "It doesn't appeal to me because it isn't enough like the manga. Have fun. I'm sitting this one out," and instead retort with, "Stupid fanboy! I'm insulted by your opinion of a movie!"

I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

YES. The thread needs to be de-latted. In a big way.

I disagree. This topic needs to be latted-to-the-max.

So FOX caught wind and put their foot down, eh? I suppose that speaks something for the legitimacy of the script stuff.

Either way, it's not like we can unread what we've already read. So now we all have a little more insight into the film, for good or bad.

But I don't think the thread should be deleted. Locked, maybe. Let it fade away and die a natural thread death.

I agree, this thread should get delated. Not deleted, but delated. Whatever that is.

Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

It should have been locked or deleted along time ago because they all end in the same manner.
