If you take away the good ending, the Super Saiyan 4 transformation, Baby and the Tsufuru revenge, the fact that the Dragon Balls themselves turn into enemies, showing Gohan actually working in Capsule Corp, showing Trunks as Capsule Corp's CEO, showing Vegeta having other concerns apart from "that pesky Kakarotto", I could go on but yeah, if you take those things, then we have nothing.

That's... exactly what I've said time and time again. The others probably wouldn't even fight, so you would add 2 more fighters: Vegeta and Uub, it would be interesting to see the interactions; the other Buus and Uub interacting with this Uub, and the other Vegetas making fun of this Vegeta's hair! And then being surprised by his Super Saiyan 4 transformation. Also you would have the other version of Pan walking around and becoming depressed for being so weak.

Another option would be instead of this universe, having the break at the end of the Baby saga. So you would have Vegeta with silly hair and chibi Goku with Super Saiyan 4, again, many interactions.

Or maybe the author could interpret that part of the series has Super Saiyan 4 being a special transformation and one can't tap to it just like that, it needs special conditions like tail and bruits waves. So you wouldn't even have Super Saiyan 4's running around, what you would have would be a different Pan, Bra, Goku, Vegeta and Uub for the others to interact with, and if you argue that would be pointless, remember that in universe #16 everyone is the same apart from Pan, Bra and Vegetto.

As for villains, like I said time and time again, the only interesting one would have been Baby, especially his interactions with the likes of Freeza, the savage Saiyans and the other Vegetas. Not only that, but he would probably bring his family to watch, so you would have interactions with the "evil" versions of Bulma, Trunks and Bra.

I fail to see how this is not character development.

You could also argue about the Dragon Balls, if you consider them to be "characters".

But that`s just it... I don`t find those interactions that interesting... Think about it. Vegeta is practically the same Vegeta from universe 18. The Vegetas we saw in this manga were all very, very different from each other, which was nice and it was interesting. The only differences between GT Vegeta and universe 18`s Vegeta would be his hair and the SSJ4. And the only thing different enough about him to make the interaction between him and the others interesting would be the SSJ4, and that would probably make him as strong or stronger than Vegetto since the Rou Kaioshin said that SSJ4 Goku was the strongest fighter he had ever seen in GT and SSJ4 Vegeta must be as strong as SSJ4 Goku. And I don`t know if that would fit in the tournament very well. But who knows? Also I`m not sure I would like all the sayans making plans to, or trying to, achieve SSJ4, including Vegetto, at some point in the tournament. It just seems weird to me.

As for Uub, its the same problem. Him and 18`s Uub are practically the same. GT Uub would just be stronger. Not very interesting.

As for Pan I don`t see any difference between her and 18`s Pan. They both can`t go SSJ and they must have similar power.

As for just having a universe after the bebi saga, that just seems like a weird idea to me. But interactions with chibi Goku would probably be the best interactions we could get from the GT universe.

Anyway, like I said, a GT villain would probably be more interesting than the normal GT universe. To me at least.

A GT villain will come along! I mean, people are in their GT age, but none of the villains are there.

That's because Salagir doesn't like GT, so it is being completely ignored. GT does not exist in DBM.

I don't care for GT myself, and for various reasons don't consider it canon, but it still should have shown up as another Universe. It would bring more mindfuck interactions to the story than Broly or Bojack would. Though I suppose Broly does add some sort of conflict.

The only interesting villain in GT is Bebi/Baby. Although the fact he is a genetically mutated parasite Tuffle sucks, since that make me remember the God awful Saiyan backstory filler. And the fact Gohan was original Bebi's host doesn't help either.
