Well some people have spent the last few days saying "change the team members", well as they say "be careful what you wish for".

Me....if he is back again I'll change my avatar back to my original Golden Frieza, for me more Frieza is never a bad thing.

Mostly everyone gotten used to the team besides Roshi.
Even then I'm fine with him.

I was fine with the team from the get go but a lot of other have said get Yamcha or Cell.

But.......oh dont tell me Buu fell asleep again!!!!

If this is true then it's another reason to why Freeza shouldn't have been killed in RF. When he blew up the planet they should've just brought it back with the Super Dragon Balls after Champa's tournamnet and leave his fate up in the air in case they want to use him again.

Why are people acting like Freeza is a bad decision or something?

The only people in U7 who could beat him is Goku, Vegeta and maybe 17 not counting Beerus and Whis.

Because it destroys the character, Freeza was humiliated on Namek and then further humiliated when Trunks killed him, Freeza came back and remained in character and sought after revenge, only to then be humiliated again, there is simply no conceivable way an already dead Freeza would join Goku and co in the tournament and if he did that character would not be Freeza. People have argued that Piccolo, Vegeta etc turned good but that happened at least somewhat naturally plus none of them were on the scale of evil-ness that is Freeza. Freeza hates Saiyans so blew their planet up, there is no way Vegeta would ever work with him. Freeza has no reason to fight, who is to say Freeza won't turn around and fight Goku and Vegeta in the ToP! It is dumb as hell which is why I think it is definitely fake.

Frost force Goku to go SSJ to defeat him and Vegeta had to go to SSJ to defeat him to. this is after they both are well above people like SSJ3 Gotenks in base.

I didn't see Goku being forced, both him and Vegeta transformed into Super Saiyan for display. They clearly didn't need it. And Potafeu saga is filler, so it doesn't serve as a reference or something.

Exactly, of course it isn't, filler does not exist in Dragon Ball Super the series is one.

But the reference was also anime-only. A moment that does not exist in the manga nor it would come from Toriyama to reference something that comes from Toei. So, even with that, both the saga and the reference are filler. Not everything comes from the author.

So it's canon in the anime regardless other wise goku wouldn't reference it at all.

God damn, if that's true it's going to piss someone off.

Goku is safe. He's responsible so he has to take part.
Vegeta fans will be annoyed if he misses out, even if he's stating he won't take part.
Gohan just obtained Mystic and Goku's hyping him up as the potential MVP.
Piccolo seems excited to actually enter this damn thing.
Krillin has been getting a lot of focus of recent and finally got his fighting spirit back. His tactics are hinted at being a big part of the upcoming tournament.
17's build up will have been for nought if he's replaced. Bringing him back and hyping him for seemingly no reason will truly be a waste of everyone's time if he's replaced.
If Buu misses out on helping the team YET AGAIN after RoF and U6, why even bother bringing him up ever again?
Next episode focuses on Tien and Roshi...which would be pointless if they're being scrapped, even if Roshi being dropped makes the most sense overall...
...that leaves Android 18 and she's the only female member of the team and has close ties to Krillin and 17, thus likely to be a vital team player.

That would be the only reason I would accept Freeza returning yet again, to make a bridge to Nekomajin series and make it canon. Kuriza would be a nice addition to the series and unlike his father, keeping him around would be fun and interesting. But they certainly wouldn't do that, so...

If they made Freeza into a good guy later on, I will officially hate it. Freeza becoming a good guy and a friend to Goku is like The Joker becoming a good guy and a friend to Batman. Freeza is too iconic as a villain to become good. Frost on the other hand, I won't mind him becoming a good guy. He could have been the Freeza that Goku wanted him to be. A rival and alley to Goku.

Just because he fights with them doesn't mean that he has to become a good guy. I wouldn't be surprised if Beerus just erased him at the end of the tournament. Or he gets to fight even though he remains dead, so he automatically goes back to hell afterwards.

Thats a weird comparison, Batman and the Joker's relationship is founded on the fact that their origins similar and really they both went insane. The only difference is that they became a different side of the same coin.

Frieza and Goku's relationship is founded on how diametrically opposed they are, of all his enemies Frieza is the one that Goku truly has nothing in common with.

I was okay with Freeza returning in ROF because Toriyama only brought him back once as Cyborg Freeza and everything else was from Toei only. Not to mention, I feel like the message of the movie was that Freeza can never beat Goku no matter how powerful he becomes. Freeza reach his limit and he had his chance to beat Goku.
