That may be true but, as stated by Goku himself, Uub was getting exponentially stronger even during their fight, which means Uub grows stronger at a faster rate than anyone else we've seen in the franchise. Even if we assume he caps out when he reaches the same power as Buu and then progresses at a normal pace, that will still put him higher than Vegeta. Maybe Vegeta could catch up and surpass him with time, but I believe it would take a lot of time for him to do that. All these are nothing but theories though, for all we know Uub could keep progressing at a really fast rate and Vegeta could never keep up if that would be the case.

Then there is the possibility of Vegeta reaching SSJ3.

I tried translating Uisu's (thinking there'd be plot there) and all I got was something about Birusu, commands, a well, and suggestions. Also Uisu being called a puzzling or mystery man.

I wanted to try translating Pilaf Gang's, but I have this feeling that it's probably just going to tell me about how they've always tried to collect the DB's in the past and have never succeeded in Pilaf making his world-ruling wish. Also Pilaf's has a lot more kanji than Uisu's does. X_X

I didn't try Birusu's because I figured it'd be the same thing from the earlier descriptions.

Also wondering if Gohan or Videl's say anything about their wedding or not. I mean, their hair now matches their wedding photo (if Videl took her headband out) and Goten is wearing a tux.

It's both. Goku outright states that he'll be training Uub to be his successor in protecting the Earth in the manga, but his friends know he just wants another high caliber fight and Goku himself even says that he's been waiting years for this and asks Uub to fight him once his training is complete.

Also wondering if Gohan or Videl's say anything about their wedding or not. I mean, their hair now matches their wedding photo (if Videl took her headband out) and Goten is wearing a tux.

Videl I'll give you, she could probably easily get her Uub Era hair without the headband. Gohan is a weird one one though, as his profile pic doesn't have his bang, but he obviously has one at Super Saiyan. I doubt he just randomly grows a bang when he transforms, so maybe he's taken to gelling it back in order to appear more sophisticated in his scholarly endeavors?

That is an odd inconsistency to add Gohan's bang in. I've seen bangs subtracted for ssj forms, but added in is unusual.

The group shot in the trailer only shows half his face, so I can't tell if he has it there or not.

I agree his outfit is definitely scholarly (a tie and a sweater-vest).

I dont buy the whole more potential thing. Last I checked only hybrid Saiyan/Humans had a ridiculous amount of potential. He is a kid with Buu's potential that can be increased. Toriyama brought him in as a successor. That was the whole point of the scene with the Kinto' un. Its the passing of the torch so to speak. Goku plans to train him so that they can have a good fight but Uub will not surpass Goku as long as Goku lives IMO. The idea that Uub will get more than 400x stronger than Goku is just silly to me. Besides the likelihood of stronger villains than Bils coming along at this point is unlikely.

Since I don't want to turn out to be "wrong" later, I've just been sticking with straight romanizations, but it bugs me every time I write them. It's likely that they're based on English words, and "virus" seems like it might be the correct source for Birusu, but since a different Japanese pronunciation of "virus" could also work for Uisu, I'm just confused. Would they use the same word source for two characters who are not related to each other? (Like we have Vegeta and Table, but they're brothers, so it at least makes some sense that they'd have names based on the same word). Newer versions of the image have been released since, though not in HQ. A is still a mystery, but we do know D is Birusu and E is Uisu.
