Well, that's what I get for not reading.

I want to believe.

Yeah, they need to put in stages that are not necessarily going to be included in the anime itself just to have more content in the mission. It was also leaked that Janemba would make in appearance in this mission via the V-jump scans. But the main idea behind the mission of going to hell in search of allie(s) is specifically stated to be following the anime so I would be pretty shocked if that did not happen in some way in the show.

I also just wanted to make it clear that there is no evidence/indication that previous characters will be reintroduced into the show. I am simply saying that in the next mission of DBH, the cast is going to hell in search of an unspecified amount of allies for the tournament of power and that this mission will follow the story of the show.

I think this is not a coincidence - it's highly likely that the anonymous 2ch user who posted that episode title took advantage of this Heroes information to give it credibility, that's how they work. Then he adds a new title to the list of previously known ones and a lot of people will buy it, real or not.

That said, as much as i doubt this has any trace of truth - i didn't see Newtype titles for any other show yet - i seem to remember many, many people wanted Freeza for the Champa tournament and thought he would be a logical choice, lol. So there's obviously a big crowd for that.

To be fair, having just checked, that "arc" also seems to include, among other things, recruiting Bojack.

So I'm taking it with a massive grain of salt that it means anything for Freeza coming back (despite the fact that I absolutely want that to happen).

It's not recruiting Bojack. It says 立ちはだかる強敵に挑め！！
Which means "challenge strong enemies that stand in your way."

So that still indicates that there is some sort of end goal for going to hell in the first place.

I would love if Freeza was involved. His motivation being to get a wish from the Super Dragon Balls obviously.

It might make little sense story wise but neither does Tien and Roshi being strong enough to compete.

The legitimate episodes titles we have had seem to imply that they are already gathered in the space of void or whatever it's callled, I really doubt they're gonna have time to trawl through Hell and recruit bad guys, if they're settleing for the likes of Krillin etc then they have Goten and Trunks right there, Jaco too. Also if this leak is true the scans surely would be available by now. It's hocus. Remember the three way fusion between Trunks, Vegeta and Goku? Same pattern they translated the couple eps prior to when the titles were confirmed by Jump Preview then they added the fusion thing to coax people it's legitimate.

Last time Gohan got completely pushed aside, Buu didn't even get in despite the promotional marital, Monaka was a joke and Piccolo got to fight 1 guy out of 5, which he lost and didn't even get his loss revoked despite Frost's cheating.

While I'm not saying any old enemies will join the party, Super has been more then happy to mess with ups before. We just got passed a week long debate about Kale and Caulifla being the same character or not and I am convinced half the reason Caulifla even exists was as a red herring. Toei quit clearly was playing this fan base with info. They had no reason not to tell us Cauli and Kale were not the same person but they didn't say a word on the matter.

Dont say they "wont" do something because they have pulled stuff right out of left field before.

I'm still curious about what went on behind the scenes in regards to Kale. In the opening animation Kale has Caulifla's face and skintone, where in episode 89 she doesn't look like Caulifla at all. Did they just not have Kale's design finalized by then?

they have been misleading us since day one. They deliberately put Jiren in the promo and were happy to let us argue over who was FemBroly, they even put Caulifla in a magazine right next to Kale without a word.

Considering that scene didn't even make it into the opening, the animator might have just drawn her wrong and then it was just never corrected. Skin tone is something that might not have been decided on at that point.
