I don't think I've ever seen a show trying so hard to make the audience hate its characters like they are doing with Freeza. They brought him back in pointless fanservice arc/movie to get killed yet again at the end of it. Them bringing back Freeza at this point the game just makes ROF's existence even more stupid..

Crossing my fingers that the Freeza thing is a gag episode. I like Freeza. But this seems a little silly.

I mean...What do you even do with Freeza once this is all over? "Thanks for the help not go back to hell"? It wouldn't be enough to make me rage or even disappointed though.

For now I'm going to stick with "This is a gag episode: until proven otherwise". Then I'll see how I feel about whatever happens when it happens.

Hopefully it's just a gag and nothing else....hell there's ways around it. Such as throw Boo in the ROSAT.

Besides why would Freeza even agree? He's in hell and getting disintegrated by Beerus is basically a bonus compared to his personal hell. He has no reason to join unless he has his full life back.

And how would he be useful? Super Saiyan 3 basically drained all of Goku's time from the 24 hour limit. Golden Freeza would just do the same and faster, leaving him exhausted like Goku was before returning back.

Toyotaro warned us that we were going to get replacement teammates, or he at least alluded to it. Not to mention that there's no conceivable way this could be a gag episode. It's happening.

I think i might be the only one here that likes the idea of Freeza being a part of universe 10 team...but that's just me. It is going to be fun seeing everyone rage because of this.

I'm mixed on this. Very happy to have Freeza back, but I wonder what kind of deal will be made? What does he gain from it?

Disappointed that Buu is (presumably) knocked out. Would have preferred Roshi, or one of 18/Krillin/Tenshinhan.

While normally this would be true, this seems like a small detail that Super would ignore if it meant keeping him around.

Fanservice maybe? If they were never gonna include Buu from the start, they never should've even entertained the idea.

God, I don't want this to happen but at the same time I do. At least Buu got his moment with Basil, but still.

If they don't screw it up and write it well it's definitely going to make this arc a lot better

Freeza even in final form is stronger than everyone besides for Gohan, Goku, Vegeta and 17. Besides, Golden Freeza doesn't waste as much energy as ss3 and he only has to last 48 minutes.

On one hand, Freeza can definitely provide much more interesting character interactions and moments than Boo would have. On the other, he's a much more boring character in terms of abilities and they could have taken out Tenshinhan, who has no place in this series whatsoever anymore.

Nope, I’m very excited for this (I actually suggested the same idea back in the previous tournament). Although, I do admit that I’m a bit disappointed that Boo is getting sidelined again, I was looking to see how he will perform in the tournament.

My only concern with this Freeza thing is how it will handled, because it’s either a hit or miss, but just the possibility of Freeza and Frost meeting each other is something I’m really looking forward to.

If the intention here is merely fanservice, I’m pretty sure Boo won’t get sidelined, or Yamcha will be the one who’ll replace him.

It does make me feel a little better that there are some fans of Freeza who are genuinely excited for this possibility. If it turns out to be true, then good for them. Glad someones happy about it.
