I honestly think what I'm gonna do is hang in there until they reveal the next arc's teaser and have that decide if I really should continue to keep up with this show or not.

I'm not a Freeza but, but I'm very excited for this. I've been shitting on the idea teamwork for months now, but it would be awesome to see Freeza and Goku working together. Few tropes I love more than enemies coming together.

And how would he be useful? Super Saiyan 3 basically drained all of Goku's time from the 24 hour limit. Golden Freeza would just do the same and faster, leaving him exhausted like Goku was before returning back.

While normally this would be true, this seems like a small detail that Super would ignore if it meant keeping him around.

Crossing my fingers that the Freeza thing is a gag episode. I like Freeza. But this seems a little silly.

I mean...What do you even do with Freeza once this is all over? "Thanks for the help not go back to hell"? It wouldn't be enough to make me rage or even disappointed though.

For now I'm going to stick with "This is a gag episode: until proven otherwise". Then I'll see how I feel about whatever happens when it happens.

Hopefully it's just a gag and nothing else....hell there's ways around it. Such as throw Boo in the ROSAT.

Besides why would Freeza even agree? He's in hell and getting disintegrated by Beerus is basically a bonus compared to his personal hell. He has no reason to join unless he has his full life back.

Freeza even in final form is stronger than everyone besides for Gohan, Goku, Vegeta and 17. Besides, Golden Freeza doesn't waste as much energy as ss3 and he only has to last 48 minutes.

I'd disagree. I'd say it's as bad, if not worse than SSJ3. Even in Final Form considering how much energy he uses could significantly waste his time. Hence why SSJ3 didn't affect Goku much when dead. It went to his time limit like how it did for Gotenks.

I wanted this to happen back in the U6 arc. I haven't been keeping up with current Super because the premise of this upcoming arc just seems kinda stale currently. But I like this misdirection and I am actually interested in what is going to happen. The one thing I don't like is that Boo is apparently the one getting taken out of commission. Mr. Evil Boo, Fit Boo, or whatever we were going to call that form was one of the few things of interest in the next arc. I just wish it could have been one of the more boring characters like Tenshinhan, Muten Roshi, or Gohan that was taken out arbitrarily.

The worst part isn't just Buu being benched or Freeza returning, it's that Goku is seemingly acting chummy around Freeza and willing to work with him after all he did.

This is the same Freeza that killed Krillin right before his very eyes. Absolutely disgusting.

Even though frieza is overused and is bad writing , I'm looking forward to see his interaction with Frost and Vegeta, and maybe he will give us an answer wether final form frost≥final form frieza rof is true, this better be executed right and Maybe they will finally have Vegeta kill frieza

On one hand, Freeza can definitely provide much more interesting character interactions and moments than Boo would have. On the other, he's a much more boring character in terms of abilities and they could have taken out Tenshinhan, who has no place in this series whatsoever anymore.

what about roshi,at least Tien have the kikoho meanwhile roshi got nothing.

(Though it is a shame we're losing Boo instead of Kame-Sennin, especially since the anime decided to go with the sleeping gag last tournament for reasons I can't fathom. Failing the test was much funnier.)

Yeah, Gohan is pretty popular so it wouldn't make sense to get rid of him. I just think he is the least interesting character and power wise, personally. It should have been Muten Roshi who has served his use in the franchise.

How do you reconcile Goku interacting with Freeza? This isn't Piccolo, Vegeta, etc. that Goku could act all friendly/chummy with even when they were still villains.

If DBS was like fairy tail, I would actually have stopped watching the show. And I say this as someone who kinda likes fairy tail. Fairy tails writing is frustrating. An new opening for each arc would be kinda neat though.
