Young hasn't done anything in FUNimation's Dragon Ball dubs up until now that I can think of. She's one of their go to actresses for 'sexy characters' so it was probably easier for Sabat to just have her take on the role.

Anyhow, I doubt that anyone who is invested enough in Dragon Ball's English dubs to both play the new games as they come out and know the previous voice actors would not watch or keep up with the dub of Kai.

Wasnt Funi's Kid Goku and Kid Gohan VA named Stephanie something(I dont remember her last name)? But I think thats who LeprikanGT was talking about.

I think I'm thinking of Linda YOUNG and just remember the last name.

Whats the difference in 18's voice? Does she sound more girly or sexy or...?

Yea bad news there for you, Japanese is using their Kai voices too. Kai will seemingly be in every DBZ related thing from this point forward.

She sounds more girly and too girly at least to me. Meredith had that cold I don't give a damn voice that just worked for 18 and I loved it. Since Kai isn't dubbed yet in the Cyborg Saga I can only go from the one or two words she said from Tenkaichi Tag, I wouldn't find her more sexy but some might. To me she sounded like Cammy from Street Fighter a little and uhm Brittish? Yea don't know why that is but I heard some Brit in her voice. Since she voices Nico in One Piece people will probably warm up with the voice.

No, as stated earlier in the thread, she voices Nico Robin. Luci Christian voices Nami in FUNimation's One Piece dub.

Tenkaichi tag ultimates with English VA personally 18 has a new voice and I strongly dislike it. Luckily 17 sounds the same, and Cell is just not to my liking. Enjoy and discuss!

God, I can't get over how perfect Zarbon and Freeza's new voices are. Android 18's new voice is alright, but McCoy's just blows it out of the water.

God, I can't get over how perfect Zarbon and Freeza's new voices are. Android 18's new voice is alright, but McCoy's just blows it out of the water.

Yea I had to admit I like their voices now but at first I strongly disliked them, but now I think they are better than the old funi voices. I couldn't agree with you more about Meredith but it shouldn't come as such a shock she didn't voice her again.

You wouldn't think recording music would take up all of her time, would it? Or maybe she gets paid better for it than she did for voice acting?

OR, it's possible she wasn't able to record for the game, but will still be able to voice 18 in Kai? Weren't there a few games where Videl's VA was unable to voice her character, but came back to voice her in later games?

Well, she would have to have left to do that exclusively. Mignogna does both still to this day, so they don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Or Funi just didn't ask her to come back because they wanted to give it to Stephanie. I don't think Meredith would not do the voice if she was asked.

According to Amazon, the game has already been released, but I just received an E-Mail saying they can't deliver it to me on the originally scheduled date (which at the time I pre-order it was somewhere around November). People, I'm confused. What the crap is going on?

Yeah but they're easy to deal with... Especially when I live outside America and England... Everything that involves buying stuff online turns into an ordeal, except with Amazon and Ebay.
