Just because I felt like telling you, Vegetto is putting out the same amount of energy that the sun does in 40 milliseconds.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I hope Salagir isnt getting any of his science ideas from a Superman comic. I only said this because they're debating on Goku and Superman on the comments, and the whole idea of Vegetto gaining mass and his own center of gravity just seems too DC to me.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
....As dense as a black hole? But the ramifications....
The engineer in me says they should have just not attempted any discussion of "science" in a realm where people are summoning up incredible amounts of energy from absolutely nowhere since it wasn't really needed. The anime nerd in me says that I wonder how the hell they're going to make anyone else in this comic as badass as Vegetto without making a whole ton of shit up to justify it a la Broly. My only guess is that they're messing with us science-type people on purpose and poking fun how the DBZ universe is so nuts anyways, what with the time travel, people not dying from increased gravity since their blood flow would be all screwed up, etc.
Anyways, here's to hoping Vegetto kicks the living crap out of Broly. I'll rage if it drags on after this.

I swear that if he creates an actual Black Hole, I am going to go Super Nova all over my house.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I find it really funny that Goku has (seemingly) the LEAST amount of lines in this manga!
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I can't seem to discern whether those two massive balls of energy are from the palms of Vegetto or are of the aura emitted from Vegetto and Broly.

It looks like Vegetto is charging his laser... a gigantic Final Flash variant...Snail wrote:I can't seem to discern whether those two massive balls of energy are from the palms of Vegetto or are of the aura emitted from Vegetto and Broly.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The Gohan and Trunks` explanations were pretty unnecessary... We get it, Vegetto is so strong that it not only levitates stuff (like we saw in the series) and people, but his power actually also pulls them towards him.
All the talk about mass, density, gravity and whatever are just unnecessary and not very Dragon Ball-ish.
This last page should only consist of the first and last panels.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
So Vegito is a SSj3 now? I have not been keeping up with the latest updates with this comic but I think he looks pretty awesome. I hope Broly does not go SSj3 also.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
In all honesty, it shouldn't work that way. But then again, when have physics worked properly in Dragon Ball? Anyone remember the ending to the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai? How does hitting a car make you hit the ground faster? If anything, I think it would slow you down.Freeza Heika wrote:Fuckin' gravity, how does that work?
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Wouldn`t the car count as the ground though? The same way that if you hit a building it would count as the ground? If not it would be possible for a fighter to fall on top of a building or on top of a car or on top of a tree and don`t fall to the ground per se, which would prevent the fighter from being disqualified. So I think that Goku lost the moment he hit the car.Kiyza wrote:In all honesty, it shouldn't work that way. But then again, when have physics worked properly in Dragon Ball? Yeah, it was hitting the car that made Goku lose, not hitting the ground. The rules are you can't anything but the ring floor. Everything else is out-of-bounds. That includes cars.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
oddly enough, we have seen people bounce off rooptops and the walls beside it.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I think they consider the walls of the arena as part of the arena. I don`t recall any rooftops.LeprikanGT wrote:oddly enough, we have seen people bounce off rooptops and the walls beside it.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The wall right beside the ring in DB? Yeah, they treat that as part of the ring floor. Dunno why, but they do. Probably because Toriyama just didn't care, and wanted to smash people into it constantly.LeprikanGT wrote:oddly enough, we have seen people bounce off rooptops and the walls beside it.
Well, he didn't really bounce, but Oozaru Goku did step on a roof. I dunno why they never ruled him out of bounds. Sure, he still had one foot in the ring, but the other was in the pavilion.rereboy wrote:I think they consider the walls of the arena as part of the arena. I don`t recall any rooftops.
