Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
I just think it would be a interesting what-if in terms of concept and possible design. Paikuhan always had a nice design so I think it would be interesting to see how Buu would look after absorbing him or how he'd stack up power wise while under Majin possession.

Great, good for you, how does this contribute to the Dragon Ball Heroes video game discussion though?KentalSSJ6 wrote:I just think it would be a interesting what-if in terms of concept and possible design. Bah, enough derailing. This Jaaku Mission 6 is supposed to come out around September, right? I find it a bit odd that they've pretty much revealed everything, makes me think that they might have not and are saving some surprises, I hope so at least. Maybe a cool SEC? Since apparently Broli is only going to pop in Jaaku Mission 7.

It's fine if he posts what-ifs in this thread. It makes for more interesting conversations. There's no need to create another thread dedicated to Heroes. Keep in mind that you are not a moderator. If you don't like how they are posted, take it to VegettoEX or the actual moderators of this forum.

You also have no authority to dictate what is fine and what is not. I'm simply taking the forum rules by their basic statements which say you must contribute validly and within context of the topic being discussed. And as there being need for another thread, you once again have no authority to decide if there is a need or there isn't, in my opinion if it means that this topic will be kept clean of clutter, then yes, there is a much pressing need. In fact, what I said was "As I've suggested many times before, maybe you guys should just create a topic in which you can discuss all the what ifs you'd like to see, in Heroes or anything else(...)"; meaning, a separate topic where you can all discuss all the what if's you want to exist, disregarding Heroes. Sure, Heroes will be mentioned because they keep spouting new what ifs, but who's to say Xenoverse isn't going to come up with some? It can just be a topic to discuss all the what ifs that have been coming out in the past decade and where you can discuss which others you want to your hearts content without filling pages after pages of a topic that is supposed to be discussing a game.DragonBalllKaiHD wrote:It's fine if he posts what-ifs in this thread. I don't have an authority, but I still think it's fine. Just as long as you stick to the topic.

What's the different between him asking for Paikuhan and myself moaning about Ssj2/3 Goten?
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
None, hence why it applies to you as well. But hey, if no one else sees the problem them I must be wrong.TheGmGoken wrote:What's the different between him asking for Paikuhan and myself moaning about Ssj2/3 Goten?

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Not to butt in, but myself personally...I think there is a place here for speculation on characters, but only in regards to stuff that's...well, topical to the actual stuff that we do know is happening in the game at the moment. Like my musing on whether or not we may see a 'Uiro in Goku's Body' character since we're finally getting Dr. Uiro. That's just my two cents on the speculation thing anyway, and hopefully it doesn't come off too badly like I'm defending the fact that I've done it some too. ^_^;

Any Dragon Ball Heroes vets can tell me what is this golden border on my card?
Is it like an enhanced version of my card?

Eh? The border is pointless in regards to the original game. The card is just one of the campaign cards from JM3, but that's not the original card's index number. So, the only other option I can think of is that they implemented cards with some of the special sleeve boarders that Japanese players could get via promotions or at tournaments? I dunno.

I fought a boss and it gave me that card. Guess its nothing since I checked stats and they're the same really.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Eh? The border is pointless in regards to the original game. Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
Not exactly related to Heroes...
Anyway, I'm sure most of you are aware of Heroes' sister game: Miracle Battle Carddass, Well, most of the character attack cards that appear in MBC end up in Heroes as well, and that goes the opposite way as well. The last MBC set had a couple of interesting cards added, so I can't help but be curious if we could see these coming to the game soon.
Hakaio Bojack (Full Power), Hakaio Slug (Without his helmet. =P), Galactic Patrol Jaco

interestingly, they add Jaco's job title to the card, but don't actually call the enslaved movie members "Hakaio".

Not just that, they seem to have added something between "Patrol" and "Jaco", but I can't see what it might be.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:interestingly, they add Jaco's job title to the card

Jaco being branded under Dragon Ball Kai is all kinds of weird.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Ha, I see what you did there. I meant that "taiin" part, couldn't quite make out the furigana. I don't have Jaco yet, do they usually refer to him as Galactic Patrol Member or just Galactic Patrol, like the title of the manga itself?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Quotations. After seeing stuff for characters like Gogeta and Broli with the Kai brand, I don't even think about it too much.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Jaco being branded under Dragon Ball Kai is all kinds of weird.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
He's usually just Jaco. In the event that they use his name and title, I believe we usually get something phrased along the lines "Jaco of the Galactic Patrol". He may introduce himself as "Galactic Patrolman Jaco" a few times too, but I don't remember any Engrish "Galactic Patrol Jaco" like on the card here.
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
What beats SS4 Broly? I doubt they pull the fusion trump card this early and I can't forsee a SS4 Beat defeating Broly by any means. How could they introduce a character with the power to even pose a threat to him? Plus, how would they introduce the female Saiyan character as SS4... in design anyways? How could they make it look decent without it being too revealing?
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
SSJ4 Vegetto could take him I think and it would be cool to see the design cause he wouldn't have a vest and fusion clothes like Gogeta so who knows what hel'd look like.Flopro18 wrote:What beats SS4 Broly? Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
This early though? I would have hoped for something like that a little later , like when we get to the final Dragon or like something. I guess it's the only option other than maybe Gohan. A fusion may be the only thing that could stop him.jollyr wrote:SSJ4 Vegetto could take him I think and it would be cool to see the design cause he wouldn't have a vest and fusion clothes like Gogeta so who knows what hel'd look like.Flopro18 wrote:What beats SS4 Broly?
