With Dragon Ball Online content being heavily marketed through Xenoverse and Heroes, are Toyotaro and Toriyama really serious when they say they don't know what to do after end of Z even though they have a mine of gold/content right in front of their eyes? The marketing Heroes and Xenoverse do should be enough for Toriyama to remember all the things he has done and contributed to Dragon Ball Online... Use it. Expand the series in the best way.

Heroes takes places centuries in the future. If the show continues post End of Z, it still will continue focusing on Goku and the others. So, the Online content is irrelevant. Heroes did manage to throw everyone else there too, with their "Xeno" versions, but there's no need for such a timeskip in the first place if they're keeping the same cast.

Ooshi would be good if they let her do spinoffs like centered on the U6 Saiyans, she would love to make Caulifla, Kale the main protagonists in those spinoffs.

Because back then Toriyama use to throw characters away for new ones, now he throws old characters away for older ones.

Heroes did manage to throw everyone else there too, with their "Xeno" versions, but there's no need for such a timeskip in the first place if they're keeping the same cast.

Dragon Ball Online content could easily be seen from Goku and others' perspective. That way viewers would be more involved and attached to the plot, rather than seeing from Trunks' perspective, "outside of the box". Also, before actually starting Dragon Ball Online's plot, give the characters what was told they would do post-end of Z, like Tenshinhan who has a dojo... Expand on that. Show Goten and Trunks properly grown up and make them create their school... There's so much to see and to visit post-end of Z. Also, timeline is not a problem. You don't have to follow the ages given by the game. That is a minor information that could be altered at any time.

Bulma is surprisingly low on the list, and Goten shockingly high.
Buu being more popular than Freeza is also a shocker.
The fact Karin is even on there is crazy, but unsurprising because the Japanese seem to rank cute animal characters highly anyway(see Chopper from One Piece being as high ranked as he always is despite being one of the least active Strawhats).
Yamcha is more popular than Tien. Interesting. Everyone else though is roughly where I imagined them to be. Yajirobe placing is a nice surprise too.

I'm just trying to work out what a western version would look like...I bet Bardock and Broly would place really high, Tenshinhan the highest human, Cell would be much higher, Freeza probably still the highest rank villain(unless Broly) and Vegeta in number one. I'd be surprised if Yamcha, Krillin, Roshi or Yajirobe would place to be honest...Satan probably would though weirdly.

Toyotaro is not Toriyama, but he is learning fast. His words, he has passed from Mr Satan's level to Yamcha's. I think he was too modest, but that's good, an arrogant guy is the worst that could happen to DB.

He is involved with some designs now, Toriyama is counting on him, he is already creating for the universe. That's important, if he ever is going to continue on his own.

He's done an amazing job with the Manga, he knows the characters as they really are and how the DB universe works. Good characters, good fights and coherency. Not to speak about the art. His version of Toriyama's plots are way better than what Toei brings us. Toei is the one full of fan service, lack of coherency and they don't know how to write the characters.

With all Toriyama has said about him, if he is gonna pass the torch, is gonna be him, which is great. But I don't see why Toriyama would leave yet. What he doesn't want is to write the manga, but he is fine providing the plots. Whenever he leaves, I hope he puts Toyotaro in charge. We'll see what he brings, certainly not some of the bad suggestions I read before.

That's subjective and not something many agree with. And Toyo have 'tributes' in the way of copy panels from the original manga and his own work isn't fan service, but what Toei does it is. As for Toei can't write characters, Toyo's Vegeta is still stuck in his Cell/Buu Saga mindset.

And we have seen what Toyo can do by himself, it's called Dragon Ball AF, which which is extremely 'fan-servery' and not very. coherency.

I'm surprised people are just now realizing that the Freeza thing is legit, hasnt it been legit since the official trans literally said "You are the 10th warrior, Goku visits Freeza" it doesnt get more obvious than the title.
The plays they can pull with this, now I really feel Goku's new form or whatever it is wont be enough to take out Jiren, he may be on a tier of his own so they added Freeza, to add a dirty ass player to help them out. I can see it now, Goku gets pissed at Freeza for fighting dirty again even if he was just trying to win.

Not just that, the episodes right before that one specifically state the Tournament is about to start. Thats effectively leaves zero room for a bait-en-switch.
