It is but we are at that point NOW. We've got a whole episode before Goku finds out and then he's going to spend part of the next getting to Buu.

By then we will be well passed the 4 hour mark and even if they did throw Buu in there it would be a waste of time since he will not wake up before the tournament starts.

Sorry that whole idea cannot work in that limited time frame. Buu is officially OUT.

Despite losing Gohan got named Captain of Team U7, I'm starting to believe he will outlast Goku in the ToP and win the tournament.

I cant say the same for Tenshinhan, Toei/Toriyama have basically buried him, he is now even worse than FnFGohan, i dont understand what is the point of including him in the team if gets treated like trash.

Gohan also said that he is looking for an ultimate form like no one has ever seen before. Maybe it's related to what Goku seems to have in the ending.

I'm glad the idea Zamasu/Goku Black returning is dead. We saw Gowasu's team in this episode and it's all new fighters who like to drink soda. Thank god.

It looks like Gowasu never told Ramushuu the Zamasu incident, and Gowasu seemed to have doubts about that muscle team, like needing to drink their protein shakes, he knows that that kind of action isnt allowed in the ToP.

I wonder if Hit was hired by Champa to look for Frost, this is a perfect chance to create a bromance between them.

Dont mind U9 being relevant, Bergamo could be a good tool hype for the likes Gohan, Freeza, Jiren, Kale or Vegeta..

Nah, it should have been Roshi. As much as I like him, a character like him fighting with people who all outclassed him since Radditz and before will just create more plotholes the stronger he's shown.

What bothers me is that VJump said that Tenshinhan was going to show "peculiar techniques", but he didnt do anything, he got pwned by Base Gohan.

Anyways, Gohan vs Toppo might be a fun matchup, both leaders of their respective teams, and both are superheroes(well Gohan is part time superhero), the best outcome if they 2 of them fight is that Gohan eliminates Toppo by outsmarting him.

Universe 11 is the Justice Universe, and Universe 10 is the muscle-bound Universe. I'm noticing a trend here.

Could the fighters be representations of this, and if so, does that tell us the kind of warriors to expect?

He was literally just fine while he was standing with the others commenting on the battles.

I don't think the roster will change now. There's a small, small chance something happens with Roshi and he stays behind, like Tien tells him to go watch over the dojo while he's gone and he goes because he knoews Yurin is there, or he gets disqualified because he can't fly....but I doubt it.

Well the interesting fact is that Gohan was holding back, thats why he was asking Goku to go all out, he was starting to gain the upperhand on SSJ2Goku then he was exchanging blows with SSJB Goku, thus forcing him to use Kaioken.

Gohan showed he is above 17, and at least he will be as strong as PostRosat Vegeta.
