I'm not gonna knock 'em for that. I don't know much about Transformers and I went and saw that movie.
Same ordeal here with Batman and Spiderman.
Heh heh, guilty here too. I guess I should whip out my ol' "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" shpeel?

Can they stop the Evil Dr. Meta-evil and his shape shifting assistant Samantha?
*Trailer closes with epic shot of Metabee's Metaforce

Why is this movie just like DBE?

Just thought I'd post that quote from an interview Chatwin had. Thoughts anyone?

That quote is clearly BULLSHIT!

I kid I kid. I read another interview with him and Emmy that sounded really great. I really think the movie is just being advertised wrong.

I've found unintentional humor in the most recent two interviews.
“There are a lot of Dragonball fans all over the world. I was always thinking what the fans were thinking, I felt responsibility,” said Chatwin, who was chosen as Goku, with a serious face.
You really don't need to add what his expression was. It's kind of unnecessary. XD It's not like he said it while laughing manically.

If I wasn't so used to just calling him Chatwin, and his Goku "Chatku", I might've used his self-proclaimed title of "Crazy Ninja"; but in that same ironic way as Yamcha calling himself the "King Hyena".

I wish he'd gone into more detail about what he did at the gym. I go to the gym every day too but that doesn't make me qualified to be in a Dragon Ball movie. o_O;;

Also curious as to how big and/or nasty these protein drinks tasted. If they were huge, 64oz things that tasted like chalk I'd feel bad for him. But if they're like little flavorless shot-glass things I'd feel kinda "meh" about it.
On hiatus.

He's clearly still in "the movie's not out yet, gotta stay positive" mode. Afterwards, he'll be all:
Justin Chatwin stroked his goatee and wrote:Thank god that's over. I've had nerds spamming my email for months about how my eyes aren't the right shape or some shit. Hey faggots, guess what? I'm just doing my goddamn job! I got paid more money for this than you bitches will ever see, so y'all can just suck it!

It's a Journalism thing. To break the monotony of He said, then he said, then he said, ext. It also helps put the the reader paint an image of the interview in his or her head.

If the movie sucks you can blame Akira Toriyama as well.

WOAHWOAHWOAHWOAHWOAH! Rewind!

When did this happen?

Did he actually have an active role in the making of this film?

I'm just making the point that he not only doesn't mind the film he was also involved in some way (probably not a big way) in the making of it.

Yes he wasn't on set directing the thing or telling them they can't do this or that, but he did say he met the cast and crew, so he probably did talk with them about stuff.

Translation:

"Executive Producer" = "Hi, Mr Toriyama. Here's a huge fucking sack of money!"

It's an actor promoting a movie. What did you expect him to say?

"I'm only here talking to you because I'm contractually obligated to. Actually, not a lot of effort was put into getting Dragonball Evolution to resemble it's source since we're pretty much just capitalizing on a popular brand name. If you think I'm in this for any reason other than the dollar signs, you're deluding yourself. Now, where's my check?"

James Marsters is the only one so far who actually seemed to have a sincere interest in the show and the movie.

Everyone else so far have just been sock puppets with the hand of a hollywood contract up their asses, but that's certainly not anything out of the ordinary.
