Where did you get this, how much was it, and what region?DragonBoxZTheMovies wrote:Fearing that Madman's upcoming release of 'Part 4' of 'DBZKai' would contain Shunsuke Kikuchi, I ordered the DVD off Amazon UK. I can't wait for it to arrive!![]()
Oh, and I hope to win myself this off Trademe:
Yeah, I know they're the 'Orange Bricks', but the current price is dirt cheap and I only own a small portion of 'Z; and the first half of Kai.
What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Ha, ha! It's not mine....yet.
Anyway, to answer everyone's questions:
This is a Region 4 Box Set put out by Madman in New Zealand and Australia. There have been two limited printings of the set so far and it's a pretty good deal. In NZ each individual season set costs around $50-$60 and this box normally retails for around $350-$400, so you're saving yourself a fair bit of money, but the user that has put this up on Trademe is selling it for only $50.
The artwork on the box is pretty fucking spectacular as well.
On the first printing it had that classic shot of Gogeta, Gotenks, Piccolo, and "Mystic" (Don't know what else to call him) Gohan, but it has since been replaced by more appropriate artwork.
For those who haven't read the last page, the item in question is this thing here:

Wow, $50? To think, I paid more than that for just one of my season sets.... ah, the days before I became internet savvy.
Heck, poor quality aside, it's almost worst spending $50 just for that awesome box!

Dude, all 9 Season Sets for $50 nearly negates the bad video quality; I can put aside washed out colors and cropping (Though not so much motion blur and line loss...) for that price. Their niche as it is is cheap DragonBall, smaller cases and a kickass box is like... wow.

My eyes would never even touch an orange brick. The quality is really that bad. However the box art on that set is simply amazing. Horrific quality aside, $50 is a steal.

Bare in mind guys, the regular retail price is nearly $400 for this set, this guy is only selling it for $50, and I'm sure the bids are gonna sky rocket to at least $200 in the closing minutes.
This is NZ money by the way, so...
RRP for this set in U.S money is about: $262-$300
The price this guy is selling it for in US dollars: $37

Auction photos, no idea where my camera is. The larger one is 18cm/7inches tall, the other one is the same figure as posted last page, but not pearly.
I also have Freeza's leg, that came with 18. Hooray?
