What can be heard of that theme song is terrible. It's just generic pop song 9,000,001. Not at all Dragon Ball, and very weak singing.

Also, It's funny to think of the new Japanese children introduced through Kai. They will be watching the series end with Goku training Uub, and then when Super starts the week after, it's "hey, we know we just showed you what happens at the end, but lets continue with the sequel before that!".

I've been listening to the OST of some of the game cutscenes and some are really good. Like this one for example. Who composed the songs for Ultimate Tenkaichi?

Hiroshi Takaki. Same as Episode of Bardock, I think. Did he also do Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans?

Or perhaps a time skip is planned and they want some of the characters to change dramatically for emphasis

I'm curious if Tarble will make some sort of appearance in Super. Yeah he'll get an episode but I wonder if there will be any focus on him and his life. I'd love to find out if he had a kid.

Gohan was noticeably taller after leaving the Room of Spirit and Time. If Goten and Trunks are about the same age, then they should look a bit older as well. I could look past it not being a true continuation if the series was good, but I would still hate that Goten and Trunks are still unchanged. Even if they want to keep that status quo, they could still age them slightly, as they should be, if they're around Cell Games Gohan's age.

I do too.

When I was a young kid, I loved Vegeta's armor (his Saiyan/Namek arc armors, as that's when I was introduced to the series), and I thought his Android-arc design wasn't as good, but I did still like it. I didn't think I would, but I liked his armorless Buu-arc design more than his Android-Cell armor design.

Well, I don't care about this anymore. Is Dende still stuck in his child form? To think that Toriyama came up with that awesome design for him at the beginning of the Buu saga just to throw it away few chapters later and reduce him into a child...

I'm going to enjoy this ride. Dragonball Super is going to be awesome for sure, and I like the opening theme it's catchy.

He actually said that in an interview and the reason is because he doesn't have to do everything on his own like before which means he isn't overworked so hopefully he can write enough to cover 200+ episodes.

We don't know right now everything they could do with the timeline.
For example, they could use the first episodes to actually link the two movies, then go beyond.
So many people felt weird about the fact that we didn't get to see Goku take the decision to contact Whis to train with Vegeta, or how Vegeta became a Super Saiyan God, or how the two of them discovered their new Super Saiyan God SS form (Goku already knows about it and explains it in the film)...

On the contrary, they can also start it after Goku and Vegeta have already completed their training with Whis, and then we might not know why it stopped (have they reached maximum potential from this training?). I doubt Whis lets them go back to Earth to just farm around if they're still going through training days, but who knows?

Anyway, many things are possible for now. How exciting!
If the long version of the trailer actually includes dialogues, it could help us figure out where exactly it is set.

However, don't expect Toriyama to write a plot based on how things end up in the epilogue. I don't think he cares, similarly to how he writes the new movies. At most, it will be the anime staff that will have to catch up for all the incompatibilities at the very end of the show, and even them might not even care anyway.
So if you follow Super, I'd say consider the epilogue doesn't happen until further confirmation, because in Toriyama's head, I think it's simply non existent at the moment he writes Super. It would likely take some interviewer to bring it up or someone showing him his own manga for him to say "oh, right, that thing existed...".

Getting rid of 2 chapters is fine with me if it means a better 100+ episode series.

If that's right, then it's pretty absurd, because Cell Games Gohan was definitely taller and a bit "sharper" in the face, and they are the around the same age, if not older.
