I liked this episode very much and it is such an improvement. Ayers laugh was great, it isn't just a chuckle "hohohoho" in this one. It is a full-blown laugh. Niceeee.

Best line of the episode:

Freeza: "You're dangerously close to making me angry"

Goku: "That makes two of us"... oh shit. They is abouts to knuckle up (grammar mistakes intentional).

I can't believe Kai kept the damn Ginyû Frog filler :/

Was it really that hard to edit around it?

On a different note, the dub for this episode was excellent. The animation, on the other hand, was horrendous.

I don't see the big deal about the Ginyu filler, It gave Bulma a little more to do and Kai made it not outlast it's welcome.

Did anyone else notice Krillin was in his orange outfit when he flew away before the fight started? He was supposed to be in Saiyan armor.

You would think they would recolor it, considering what they did to "pre takeoff to Earth" Vegeta.
But who knows? they probably didn't think it would matter that much.

I think its more likely that it wasn't noticed.

They have been pretty damn good about correcting animation errors from 'z'.
Even down to re-adding the Capsule Corp logo to Trunks jacket, that 'z' seemed to miss off with astounding regularity.

I dunno... Peter Kelamis did some pretty crazy, Nozawa-like screams in the dubs of movies 1-3.

I don't hear any of that. I hear some Rob Paulson-imitating, though.

As for tonight's episode, I have much the same opinion as yesterday's. Chris Ayres is doing well, but with Sean Schemmel, it depends on the scene. Very inconsistent. I thought he did better work when he fought Ginyu.

I noticed that too. What was up with that blue eye right before Freeza elbowed Goku? I don't remember ever seeing that before.
