Seems like Dragon Ball just keeps expanding! From the orignal DB series where its just in Earth, to universe-scale in DBZ, now to multiverse (?!) in DBS!

The fat Beerus looks like all of Earth's food finally catching up to him, but the womanly Whis-like person is unexpected entirely. It seems awesome. Imagine, a woman more powerful than Beerus.
Also, the fat Beerus seems darker than Beerus and has a red necklace. I like the orange one more. The womanly Whis seems to keep his attire for the most part, aside from the green, colonial-type underdress and black skirt.
Speaking of such, does Whis wear a kilt? Or is it a robe?

Oh man, I wonder what this all means! Female Whis and a chubby Beerus?! This should be interesting. Consider me 200x more excited.

I'm in a perpetual state of shock that this is actually a real thing. Years of false rumours and it's actually happening.

Not sure why people are talking parallel universes. Its was already said there are 12 "balls" and the fat Beerus and female Whis are probably just from Universe #3 or something.

Also, anyone still convinced this is post-ROF lol? Post-BOG & pre-ROF confirmed. My prediction is that 1st season will stay in this period and next one will cover post-ROF & pre-Movie #3. Movie #3 for 2017 ending the "Gods" story arc.

Fat Beerus & Female Whis is that for realsies? It looks like Toriyama lost his creativity and can't think to design another God Of Destruction, what a shame

I'm just super confused at this point. All the designs are Battle of Gods era, so is it after BOG, and before F? But Beerus and Whis are apparently around, though we never met them prior to Battle of Gods and Beerus was asleep till F. Are we retelling all the films, or are the saying the hell with continuity again?
