Its because almost all of us were sure the ToP starts at ep 97 due to season change/new anime lineup/new ED etc. It was pretty easy to guess.

I see. What season you mean? New anime lineup, what's that? New ending song, that's something to bet 97 for the start.

Every season new anime releases pops up, summer season starts at DBS ep 97.

Well there you have it in black and white and it's soooo disappointing. Oh well on with the show, at least I get to watch Frieza murdur some mooks from U9.

But you know, maybe because this is all revolving around the conspiracy universe, theres a little part of me that ain't convinced. But we only have 2 episodes to go befor the fake leaks get proven wrong so we'll see.

Roshi is strong than Yamcha now so why would that happen? Yamcha has nothing to provide.

The meme will never die since it's been with him since the start. Yamcha has jobbed in every single major fight that he has ever been in besides the one in Baba's tournament where he would have lost that one as well without outside interference.

I'm admittedly confused right now. Reading through the last couple of pages, I'm seeing episode titles but not any episode synopsis'.

Where are people getting that Freeza is confirmed to still be U7 tenth member going into the tournament (Episode 97)?

If They could really troll us with unexpected changes just before execution of arc, then I would be for in for them to bring dabura instead of Roshi.

Screw nostalgia, screw bullshit master over techniques of old man etc. Yeah I know i am sounding like I am hating on him but instead it would be better if Master Roshi was one of people who have to stay in defence of earth or joining jaco along with Yamsha and save earth from danger while big fishes are absent .

Great plot and less ass pulls. anyway Yamcha replacing Roshi would make it more perfect.

About Yamucha "death pose" meme: How did this become a meme to begin with? What's so funny about a character (one of the good guys!) laying dead in a small crater? Up to this point, Yamucha was still being treated as a respectable character -- and it was his first death. It wasn't played for comedy.

If anything, I would've assumed that a Recoome "death pose" meme would've hit big. I mean, that's the defined image of someone dying with dignity right there...

Not really. As ArchedThunder pointed out on another site:

It's "Survive! Finally the curtain of the tournament rises!" for 97.

Because it was really pathetic. He died without even fighting the Saiyans and Krillin killed five of those Saibermen on his own and Piccolo easily one-shotted the last one. Also, ever heard of black comedy?

Recoome got killed when he wasn't even conscious and before then he wrecked everyone. Yamcha had none of that. He has always been a jobber. The Saiberman was just the final nail in the coffin.
