That site is horrible fwiw. I Dont know when the meme originated but I would never trust that site as I've seen a lot of mistakes on it in the past.
Not to mention it isnt easy to find an image hosted more than 10 years ago.

Freeza slaughtering other Universe fighters is more interesting than anything he ever did in both ROF versions.
Now I'm waiting for the official summaries of the other episodes. The real ones worthy of my time.

Nice to see Toshio explaining some of the stuff that didnt make sense in the show.Jaetinh wrote:
Roshi isn't stronger than Tenshinhan. Sure he beat him in that scene, but come on. If that was a fight between the two of them, with no boosts or what ever happened to Roshi, Tenshinhan would had won.

Now someone should ask him about Kale LSSJ form, if its the same thing as SSJ Ikari Trunks, if Vegetto became stronger than Beerus, if Genkidama Trunks is Hakaishin level.

A user has already posted the Staff referring to episodes that came out in the leak.ArchedThunder wrote:It wasn't just writers that it got wrong, it was most of the staff.TheSaiyanGod wrote: So the list of episode writers that came out in the Newtype magazine is different from what came out in the leaks?
Would that confirm that the news is really fake?
Some people are still believing because of the title of EP 97, which it may have supposedly been changed in the Newtype magazine and that the leaks may be real, but the writers of the EP would not be changed that way.
Could someone post the Staff that is in the Newtype magazine? Just to compare?

I don't think it's nice to bother the staff with questions you can easily get the answer if you pay attention.perucho1990 wrote:Nice to see Toshio explaining some of the stuff that didnt make sense in the show.Jaetinh wrote:

The last thing we need is this to become a norm and some people start spamming the staff social networks pages with complaints about trivial things, every single week.

For one, Yamcha's death pose was a meme when Dragon Ball Z aired in the US in the 90s. So even if we discount Japan, this is an old meme.Neo-Makaiōshin wrote:

And again, this meme predates the internet and even the term 'meme'.

Does the staff even pay attention to the dialogue in their episodes? The episode said it was Roshi's own power and his strength wasn't being boostedFortuneSSJ wrote:I don't think it's nice to bother the staff with questions you can easily get the answer if you pay attention.perucho1990 wrote:Nice to see Toshio explaining some of the stuff that didnt make sense in the show.Jaetinh wrote:

It wasn't a meme back then, it was just an event in the series like any other, it became one in the late 2000s at most. Like 'it's over 9000' sentence, it was nothing until some day started spreading in the Internet becoming a meme.HeroR wrote:For one, Yamcha's death pose was a meme when Dragon Ball Z aired in the US in the 90s. Right? Yeah, I wanted to see Toshio's reply, but I was hesitant when he said that. Tien probably is still weaker because the episode explains it at least in more detail why Roshi would be stronger. Toshio gave an answer that doesn't make too much sense.OLKv3 wrote:Does the staff even pay attention to the dialogue in their episodes? His answer does make "another sense" though. He says what the other guy wants to read. That is more important marketing wise than what would be true in the show for real.ChiefWamsutta wrote:Right? But it was Goku opinion that Roshi was that strong, not all of his opinions are 100% facts(See Buu Saga for example).
We have already seen that witchcraft can boost a persons strength(Babidi, Old Kaioshin).

There's nothing going against Goku's statement. Goku even saw people who couldn't fly suddenly ramming into houses.perucho1990 wrote:But it was Goku opinion that Roshi was that strong, not all of his opinions are 100% facts(See Buu Saga for example).

That dialogue made it pretty clear it was Roshi's own power he was using
And the girl never said anything about raising his power with her possession, just that he was strong and perfect for her possession

Is it so important that Roshi is strong. That does not mean Tenshinhan cannot have secretly more power. That is the same thing again when people thought Gohan was as strong as a SSJB just because he fought Goku a bit and actually hit him ...

I don't care about the power, I just care about the sudden "possession boosts power" thing. it's just weird and odd that a show writer is ignoring show dialogue lol.Cetra wrote:Is it so important that Roshi is strong. I don't think he ignored it. He just saw the comment, did not remember that was a line and answered because a demanding fan wanted an answer.
