Well, I actually heard a small child that sounded like Gohan. I don't know about his mom, but his dad smoked a pack (or maybe two or three :? ) a day. He just kept smoking and smoking. In the house, in the car with the windows up, on the hike. It's no wonder this kid sounded like he ate sandpaper. Of course, Nadolny's Gohan isn't actually as bad as this kid was, but it still sounds awful. Though, appearantly her four-year-old Gohan is less raspy than I remember it being. But it's still too deep.

I thought this, too, until I went back and checked out one of the dub eps...

Except for anything involving Gohan's character, I seem to find myself agreeing with every single thing you say. The only time Gohan ever sounded close to a chain smoker was in the Frieza saga.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Is there some new requirement that you've had to have heard a real chain smoker before you're allowed to crack jokes and use established puns?

Someone on the forums once said Kid Gohan/Kid Goku in the FUNi dub sounded like he had a cue ball stuck in his throat, and I still feel that best sums up how the characters sound. Vegeta is the chain smoker/guy with throat cancer.

I thought the voice of Dende did a better job as young Goku than Naldony. If they can get Clinkenbeard to do it, though, more power to her.
Wait, who are we talking about? I know there was somebody playing Dende in FUNi's dub before Laura Bailey showed up, but that person was Goku at some point?
Ceyli Delgadillo, who played Dende, played Goku in Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle and Mystical Adventure, and was by far my favorite English voice for younger Goku.

I don't know if this is allowed but, do you think you can get clips of this or something?

I didn't like Ceyli Delgadillo's Goku. Her Dende was fine, but not her Goku. Ms. Nadolny all the way for little Goku and in DB, was my favorite Goku.

Delgadillo's is superior to Naldony's, because it actually sounds like a kid, and not just a scratchy impression of one. If only she had voiced him in a movie with a decent Bulma. Thank god Funimation replaced Naldony and Vollmer with talented voice actresses.

Delgadillo's still not as amazing as Nozawa, though.

Well nobody will be, seeing as nobody sounds more like Nozawa than well... Nozawa.

You should give up on Dragon Ball dubs so long as FUNimation releases them in North America.

Because judging from your previous posts, you'll never like a single one.

That's a ridiculous thing to tell me to do. I should just give up? That's like giving Funimation permission to suck.

If I have to say "in my opinion" every time I state my opinion, then clearly there are a lot of complete fuckwits here.

Strike a nerve? Calm that stuff down dude, you pretty much did have to say it in this instance (I mean, unless you wanted to make it look like it was a fact...) because the previous poster did so and you responded in a way that basically said "No no, this is how it is" as if this was the law. So, no, you don't have to say it every time, but sometimes it is necessary.

I'm under no obligation to spell things out for you. Unless I tell you outright that I think of it as a fact, the implication is that it's an opinion.

Maybe instead of attacking how I give my opinion, you should perhaps argue to the contrary, if you disagree. If you have an argument.

This was the only clip I could find. It's just a few seconds in.
