To all the Funifriends out there how did they censor Freeza getting cut in two by his Kienzen if at all? I'm just wondering how Nicktoons will handle this since apparently they can't even show things like Dinosaurs tails getting chopped off or man butt.

Edit: Then again they showed Tenshinhan's arm getting knocked off so...erm...yeah.

They just removed the blood on the broadcast. As for what Nicktoons will do with the scene, if I were a betting man, judging from the edits so far, I'd put a lot towards them simply cutting away before the disc touches him, and then having it cut away to him instantly laying on the ground. Either that, or they will have him say "OW!" and then draw a poorly drawn body on him for the remainder of the scenes where he is in half.

The latter sounds a LOT funnier, but yeah option 1 sounds more plausible. Waiting for censors is one of the main reasons I watch the broadcast dub.

I know that I've mentioned this already, but Monica Rial totally dominated the last episode. However, Sabat's Vegeta has also made great strides, as evident in his delivery of Vegeta's talk about the scouter and how annoyed he is to continue carrying it around. The improved dialogue definitely help both of these characters, though.

Kiwi definitely sounds different, and I'm not sure I like it or hate it. I guess he won't be around long enough for me to decide, though.

But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Yes, I've been loving Monica Rial as Bulma. Much more three-dimensional than Tiffany Vollmer ever was.

Indeed, and like the potential I'm hearing in the new Freeza (which I've listened to over and over), Sabat is winning me over more and more with his Vegeta. I've said before that I'd wait to see how Sabat would handle that calculating side of Vegeta to further judge. ALREADY I'm being impressed, the delivery and his acting far outstrips the fact that I may not like the actual sound of his Vegeta voice at certain times. When Vegeta grumbles about setting aside his pride to use his scouter, I truly felt like I was watching Vegeta, but in English. His exchange with Cui was also excellent, just dripping with Vegeta's elitist ego.

I feel Sabat truly understands the character at this point, same with Piccolo. Chris is impressing me more than Sean is so far.

The new Freeza is going to be awesome if Seans words are correct, Creepy, noble, Gentleman? If they get this right than they better fix the Ginyu Special Corps(Hell..I hated everyone that voiced these guys thus far..just awful!)

Episode 20 clips are up on Nicktoons site, but they keep redirecting me to random clips from other episodes...

They work for me.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Also "Cui, looks like you're fired!"... Seriously? P-please tell me that isn't going to be in the DVD release!

It just sounds like a higher version of Sabat's voice.

Well, I do kinda hear shades of Suzaku from Yu Yu Hakusho in his voice, but otherwise it's not all that different.

Man, Goku sounded so excited to find a foe stronger than Vegeta. I'm loving Schemmel's Goku even more during this new dub.
