Okay, so I watched an Ocean Dub clip...and, this new voice DOES sound like Newstone, just less annoying.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

No. No they don't. They're opinions, and people are just as entitled to have them as you are entitled to yours. So... no.

I like how you avoided my comparison clip that shows how un-Newstone the new voice is.

That showed absolutely nothing but a Spider-Man character voice.

But as a said I'll come back with a DEFINITE opinion once I hear him taunt some Namekians, that one scene sums up Freeza perfectly to me so if he can pull that off exceptionally well I'll be happy.

As for Zarbon it's pretty cool, I actually liked Sabat's Zarbon but the less Sabat roles the better. I'm so glad he's cutting down.
There is a clip on Nicktoons site of this, but it might not be the exact scene you are referring to. Also, now the clip keeps redirecting me to random episodes of Kai...
Holy crap, I finally got it to let me watch the one you were talking about and HOLY CRAP!! I LOVE this new voice, and after seeing that one I'm still wondering how anyone can hear Newstone's Freeza in it...

HA HA OH MAN THAT WAS AMAZING! I literally giggled and clapped like a giant fool. Simply amazing, THAT is the Freeza I know and love. Thank you so much for that clip. I HAVE to show my friend this episode, he'll totally get what I'm saying about Japanese Freeza's pseudo polite cocky arrogance now. Now if you'll excuse me I'll watch this 4 or 5 more times.

Well, I would of liked to at least see you address my example instead of brushing it off. We're ALL presenting opinions here, that's obvious, but being able to back them up is the deciding factor.

Newstone sounds like a sinister lady, and Linda sounds like a mean old grandma.

I'm loving this new Freeza voice. Wasn't very fond of it on episode 19, but in episode 20 and that clip on 21... just awesome.

Well, see, my point wasn't arguing with you whether or not comparing it to Newstone was accurate. It doesn't bother me that you don't see the connection. I do. And I really don't care. Nor was I trying to say that your opinion was wrong. I was just trying to say that it irked me that the impression I was getting from you was, "This opinion doesn't meld with mine, therefore it must go away."

As for your example, I wasn't brushing it off. It just wasn't relevant to what I was trying to say. But if you really want me to, I can talk about your example. Yeah, it's a similar vocal type, but I don't exactly see it as sounding much like Ayers's Freeza.

Well, some fans just hear what they want to, I can't argue against that.

You really are starting to resemble a stereotypical Toxic King.

You speak the truth brother. But I think now I'm gonna bring up how Chris is doing a Dr Octopus impression in every Freeza dub discussion now. (becauce of how repetitive this newstone/linda BS is getting)

Attitudes. Gone. Now.

Really, this is something we should all be happy about. Why the arguments?

Ok, just showed my Brother Freeza's new voice. He's a hardcore dubbie, refuses to watch the show in Japanese, has made the "Goku sounds like a girl" complaint before.

He nodded approvingly and said.
"Much better, now Freeza doesn't sound like a Raspy old lady."

Well um...okay? It just seems like he doesn't like male characters being voiced by girls.

Oh come now, how long have you been in this fanbase?
I can't COUNT how many vehement dub fans, even ones who loved Young's portrayal of Freeza, make the "Goku sounds like a girl" comment.
