Hmm.. Goku and Vegeta being mentioned has nothing to do with movie 12's title, instead it seems to be mentioning them in the context of the both of them coming back to life during the later Majin Buu Arc episodes, so the first sentence doesn't tell anything about strength comparisons.

That's what I've been able to find out so far.

Is there anything interesting said in each of the following scans from the manual for the old SNES game 'Dragon Ball Z-Hyper Dimension'? Thanks.

Thanks in advance.

And yeah, that all comes from the now defunct Dragon Ball movies site.
I've come to realize that the only one of the above images that actually says something about strongest villain is the second one. This is why in the image Fox666 posted, the guy who found it outlined a specific part of number 2's text, so that is the part I want to get translated(or simply written out in japanese, so I can run it through a translator, since it's impossible to process the words on the picture.)

In Chapter 28 in the Viz translation, Kuririn claims to have trained at Orin Temple for eight years. Is that correct?

I don't know if this will be helpful or not, but he does say that he trained there for eight years in the Polish version of the manga, too. So I don't think it's a made-up line.

Herms did mention this in his "The History of Ever" thread.

[Ref: From their Daizenshuu 7 bios. In Chapter 5 Oolong says 16-year old Bulma is older than him, in Chapter 16 he describes himself as a “piglet”, and Chapter 8 shows that Oolong and Puar attended Shape-Shifting Kindergarten at the same time.]

--Wanting to get strong and become popular with girls, at the tender age of four Kuririn becomes a pupil at Oorin Temple and studies martial arts for the next eight years.
[Ref: Exact date from Daizenshuu 7. In Chapter 28 Kuririn mentions training at Oorin for 8 years. This leaves a year-long gap between him living Oorin and arriving at Kame-sennin’s in 749. Presumably the trip took him a year. Chapter 36 establishes Kuririn as 13, so no matter how you cut it he must have been incredibly young when he started training. He mentions his motives for studying martial arts in Chapter 25.

I'm working on some translations of DBZ scenes for a panel I'm doing, and one particular line I'm having trouble with is what Vegeeta says right after having hit Cell with the Final Flash. In the anime, it's after Trunks has just noted that his father must have been able to read the situation and narrowed the range of the attack, and it's just before we see Cell's reaction of pain and the smoke clearing away to show his right arm and such blown off.

If possible, could someone tell me what exactly Vegeeta is saying, in Japanese? Even better would be if I could get the kanji and kana, so I could see for myself. It's something "Te... yatta ze." That's all I can make out.

I think the line you're looking for is written as "手応えあったぜ" in the manga. In hiragana it's "てごたえあったぜ" (Tegotae atta ze). I could only take a rough guess at what it means, so I'll leave that to someone else.

Bah. @_@ I didn't think about the fact that it could have been "atta ze", instead. Many thanks.

The opening narration of chapter 53 in Viz refers to the fight against Goku and Jackie Chun as the longest Tenkaichi Budoukai in history (up to that point). Is that an embellishment, or does the original line say the same thing?

If i'm not mistaken I think they are sketches from AT given to the animation team with some info. I could be wrong and they could be from the anime team themselves.

Now for them being translated...
