How did you decide/get your avatar?

I got myself Viz's third volume of Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo, and saw a brilliant little DB reference towards the end with Bo-Bobo as Vegeta and Don Patch as Nappa. Naturally, the urge to scan it, color it, and turn it into an avatar was overwhelming.

Oh damn, I forgot that one came out in February, eh? I'll have to mosey on over to the book store and get a copy of that, I've been collecting the Bobobo manga. I sure hope somebody gets around to releasing the TV series on DVD.

I heard The releases had dubtitles only. And the dubbing company's license had expired and nobody picked it up

They only use it with the Legendaries, to differentiate them more.

I always get the first version (ie. (Fire)Red, (Heart)Gold, Ruby, Diamond). Which also mostly tend to be hot colors, which I prefer. And Black sounds cooler than white.

I get whichever sounds better. Blue, Silver (and I'll get Soul Silver), didn't get a Gen III game, Diamond, and I'll get Black.

The Japanese franchise differs between the terms フォルメ and フォーム, so the TPCI (or whomever demanded that change) followed suit to avoid confusion.
God knows there's enough people on Pokemon forums out there bitching about why "Brock" never does any "breeding". All confusion caused by the English translations referring to "what Brock calls himself" and "what those guys who make Pokemon produce eggs call themselves" by the same word.

(Dragonball? What's that? Uh, I got a Pilaf avatar because I like Pilaf. Wee)
