Unpopular DB opinions

Wow that is definitely the definition of an unpopular opinion haha. Curious why did you love it? It stripped away all of Tag's character growth just to seemingly have yet another Z throwback.

Tagoma didn't have much of a character that wasn't already developed. Ginyu coming back was a good way to explain his death. Besides, Vegeta killing the last member of the Ginyu Force wasn't necessarily a throwback.

...and also Ginyu might change bodies with people in my fanfic.

I like Masunaga's work for the Cell Games more than his work for the Boo arc. Both are fantastic but the his earlier work had a slight edge to it for me because I like the earlier art style more. His work for episode 191 is probably my favorite out of everything he's done. I don't know why, but I just LOVE how he drew SS2 Gohan in that particular episode.

Pan should have been Goku's daughter, instead of Gohan's.

I've always imagined that their relationship was more relatable as father and daughter than grandparent and grandchild.

Yeah, there is some truth to that.

Another thing I've noticed about Pan is that I see her resembling more like Chi-Chi than Videl. It would have been cute to see Goku's and Vegeta's daughters being portrayed as an alternate version of their human mothers with Saiyan blood.

Here's a massively unpopular one: Blue Popo is a good idea. Since he speaks in complete and sophisticated sentences in the English dubs all they had to do was change his skin and lip colours. Which 4kids did, and I'm happy about it (though erasing Shenlong from the openings is a heinous crime that must be scorned forever). For some reason, everyone hates blue Popo other than me.

THANK YOU!!! I thought I was the only one who noticed this. Saiyan arc Goku seemed more affectionate with Gohan and it was like he was higher on his priority list instead fighting unlike what we see later on.

The circumstances are so different. For one, Gohan is a young innocent sheltered child when he's kidnapped by Raditz. In the Freeza arc, I don't see how he comes across any less like Gohan's father.

The man she went with resembled the character, so I'm assuming many connect it as the same character. It's not necessarily the case seeing as Tsukutsun resembling Yamcha is also a case of Toriyama's character designs strongly resembling one another. Well, that and their personalities don't seem to be the same.

I feel like sometimes SSJ is just a costume change and does nothing to help boost the person's power.

Not to mention the anime reuses models for incidental characters all the time -- sometimes presumably for convenience, other times as an intentional Easter egg (Red and Black as a director and his assistant during the Saiyaman arc).

I doubt that was intended to be the tournament announcer, but I get a chuckle out of imagining it was.
