Shadow Goku is a summonable fighter, Evil Shen Long is the one who can summon him. He's literally just a shadowed version of Goku: GT.
TheDevilsCorpse should be able to point you towards a video of him.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
It's just GT Goku with the brightness turned down on his model or some kind of dark filter. Nothing worth looking at, but here is Shadow Goku.
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
The whole card based combat looks incredibly boring. I'd love to have a regular fighting game with all these characters and all the stuff but I wouldn't buy it like this
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
A fighting game with that many characters would not be a fun game. Just look at the most popular fighting game and you will understand. But that is just my opinion. Talking about an hypothetical game with a roster of characters like heroes probably an RPG could work. But that is off-topic.jollyr wrote:The whole card based combat looks incredibly boring. So I did read a huge chunk of this topic and now I have a better notion of the characters absents in the game. I was thinking about doing a list of missing charecters but apparently this kind of list causes trouble in the topic.
But changing topic I got a new question. Do the hero race (Majin, Namekian, Android) have any lunching pattern?? Is it safe to assume that when we enter in Xeno/Online we will see a new race??
Which race would you guys like to see? Its kind of hard to think in new races for the game. In my opinion Earthlings using the DBO class system would be fun and can fit the theme. Any ideas???
Side note. DNA your card list is very helpful and an website would be very much appreciated. And your blog about Dragon Ball games is a great read. I hope that you have time for new updates. Meus sinceros parabainz.

I'm only in it for the card art and what-ifs they come up with. Some designs are pretty good too.jollyr wrote:The whole card based combat looks incredibly boring. I'd love to have a regular fighting game with all these characters and all the stuff but I wouldn't buy it like this

You need to look at it as a card game.jollyr wrote:The whole card based combat looks incredibly boring. I'd love to have a regular fighting game with all these characters and all the stuff but I wouldn't buy it like this
Not as a fighting game.

To be perfectly honest with you I can't even imagine a fighting game with this many characters, and the development in making a game like that would probably be massive. Besides I couldn't see this game anything else besides a card gamejollyr wrote:The whole card based combat looks incredibly boring. Jump Festa's having some Heroes stuff there: http://www.jumpfesta.com/maker18.html
I don't know if it'll just be a booth to promote it, or if there'll be new and/or exclusives there.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
They usually do. Jump Festa tends to have some tournaments with promo cards I believe and is also where we usually get the inside information for the future sets (like the adult Gotenks reveal). They already gave us all that info with the SS4 Broli stream though, so unless they want to give even more details this early, I don't know what they intend to show off this time...

Super Saiyan God Broli..? No wait, fucking Base Broli! :oTheDevilsCorpse wrote:They usually do. I guess before it's all said and done we'll get the next set of SS4s. Just like they did with SS3 but maybe with more original designs. I say they save the eventual SS4 Vegito for the end of JM and give us SS4 Gohan because, well, I want it

I don't want to see any Super Saiyan God Broli even for Heroes. Maybe SSJ4 Gohan because that would be neat.

I'd rather they not touch ssjg, but if they must, at least wait until after the DB15 movie via VJump news articles reveals (I hope) more information on the form. Gokû still doesn't know how he absorbed that huge blast with it at the end.
Also, a good chunk of Brolli's shtick is how huge and buff he is; ssjg's the opposite of that; it wouldn't be that impressive-looking.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
All I wanted before the JM series ended was SS Pan, SS4 Vegetto and SS3 GT Goten. Looking pretty unlikely at this point with only two sets left. Not that whatever the new card series is can't give us what-ifs for those characters, I just think they are less likely. We'll see.

I'm still stunned we don't have ssj Pan. And it's not like it's a guys thing either; all the female saiyajin avatars have gotten ssj forms 1-3.

If Broly gets ssj god then I'm done with DBH for good...

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
I want to see ssj4 Gohan with glasses; like that one old piece of fairly-on-model fanart.
OR he only has them on when he first is summoned, then puts them in his pocket before fighting.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
I see many designs of SS4 Gohan but I wonder how he would look according to people who actually create official games. But that's what Heroes is for I guess.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread
I didn't even think about the fact that moving out of GT era stuff and seemingly into Online/Xenoverse stuff meant that the likelihood of us getting Super Saiyan Pan is ever more dwindling...gahhh! C'mon Heroes, what is the deal. I know it's not like Pan is a super popular character, but you've given THREE Super Saiyan levels to the freakin' OC female avatars. We're getting the option of female Super Saiyans in Xenoverse too. The whole 'women can't become Super Saiyans' thing is pretty clearly a dying out opinion, so why not just toss the poor girl a bone already?
