That one is a hell of a lot better than that placeholder a few pages back. I hope that's the US cover too.

Although this may very well be fanmade too. I mean, all of the images used are promotional images that have been around since before the movie came out. Also, what's with the font? Seems a little too average for an official release... Then again, Dragon Ball Z: Sagas used Comic Sans on the back so...

The back cover states the length of the move as 1 hour 40 minutes.(or 45, it's kind of blurry).

I agree that it’s nothing special—front cover: very generic, trendwhorish Photoshop blending, with too much negative space on the bottom right hand side; back cover: doesn’t match the front, and has a really bad choice of font and spacing, not to mention the distractingly misplaced “Master Your Destiny” in the upper left hand side—but make no mistake, it’s still leagues better than the horizontal bar design. Most "professionally" made DVD covers are wretchedly bad. But what do you expect when they hire the lowest bidder to do it. I will go on record and say that given a professional template and high res artwork, like they give to the "professionals", I could design something a lot better.

Also, there is a Wolverine poster hanging up at my theater, I swear this "professionally" made poster is pixelated, has obvious stock bevel effects, and just looks cheap as hell.

Movie poster design strikes me as something of a lost art. It used to be the sort of thing that an actual artist would be commissioned to do; now it’s anybody with a copy of Photoshop.

Got to say, if not for all the bad pre-hype, pirates and if Fox treated and promoted this movie as they are Wolverine which opens in 2 days, think it would've done better?

No way. When Hollywood or Fox decide to adapt something, it's destined for failure.

Except for Twilight. That movie succeeded in being just as shitty as the book that inspired it.

Anything by Fox in general. Even their NASCAR and NFL coverages are terrible.
