Hmmm... I think the main difference between Jiren and Hit is that Jiren is a fighter of justice, while Hit has absolutely no morals. Hit fights for whoever pays him more.

Seriously, none of these characters are unique, but you can't help but like them due to that air of mystery that surrounds them until they inevitably showcase their power.

My thoughts exactly, although I like Hit and his backstory is way more interesting than Paikuhan and maybe Jiren, I fear that he may fall apart after serving his purpose of being a challenge that Goku would need to overcome in one arc.

Logically speaking that should lead to her jobbing, or Toei will write her like Tatsumaki from OPM?(Overpowering mid-tiers and being a challenge to the top dogs)?

Most of the preview focusing on Goku is worrisome, I want all the other main characters to get some spotlight. Bringing back all the other older main characters back into the action after they did nothing on Super, I hope the focus isn't on Goku much.

Not necessarily. They keep emphasizing the importance of tactics and teamwork over raw power, and underestimating people/dropping his guard is how Goku ended up losing to Buu and getting taken out by Sorbet. I have a feeling Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza are going to ignore Supreme Kai's strategy in 97 and 98 in favor of going solo like usual and are going to be in danger of getting their shit kicked in.

Kind of expected, but a lot of the other universes will be knocking each other out as seen in the preview, so a lot of these character designs are just going to be throwaway characters I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if 10 of the weaker characters get knocked out already by the end of the next episode.

I was talking mainly about the Gods of Destruction. But, I think most of them will not talk and they'll have a secondary role, we might have a mute character, who knows.

DB Online is not relevant anymore since Super does not follow the events of it.

Dragon Ball Online is set to take place in a distant future (AGE 1000), how Dragon Ball Super would follow its events? Fortunately, nothing about Dragon Ball Super contradicts Dragon Ball Online, so... It is still revelant.

There are several events like in Online the Freeza Force is still around, while they've been wiped out completely by Super. The remaining forces also think Mr. Satan killed Freeza, while they know good and well it was Goku and Trunks in the Super. Goku dying at old age in his 60s is another major one. There is also who thing about time travel not working in Super like it does in Online or Xenoverse.

Wither Jiren is "that guy" or not doe not matter. What dose matter is that he's clearly unlike any other warrior in the tournament.

Toppo was powerful enough to tank SSB Goku's attacks with only his uniform ripping and getting a little scuffed up, he also was ready for round two with SSBKKx2 Goku. A guy like Toppo would ranks as any other universes best fighter....but he's second. And since power gaps in DB can be pretty big from fighter to fighter......Goku had better have a new form up his sleeve or Jiren is gonna murder him, metaphysically speaking.

He didn't tank it since he was tired and was hurt even if it was minor. Tanking me no injures at all and not tired.

There's an interesting idea. I'm still however firmly under the belief that either Goku vs Jiren happens throughout the entire tournament, or they don't get to have their big fight now and will continue in a later episode in the tournament. I don't see the tournament being stopped short though.

Goku remembers one of Universe 2's member as a Yardrat... What's going on? Shouldn't him be from Universe 6? What are the odds of a race from another Universe wear a very similar clothes of another race from another Universe?

Maybe you just have a flawed perception on how this stuff works. He's a Yardratian until stated otherwise.

They achieved a great deal of realism with the tournament setting, the fighters and atmosphere reminded me of the time I competed in a big tournament for the first time..
The chills before the fighting starts is the real deal, watching people get their asses kicked then knowing you might have to fight those ass kickers next is even more scary, I can understand how poor Krillin and tien feel

I really hope Roshi doesn't blow away half the characters on stage with his attack in the preview. It's going to be completely unbelieveable if they portray him as some powerful fighter.
