Arrogance has a pretty good track record of backing it up in DB. I wouldn't expect Caulifla to have a poor showing just because she's moderately arrogant.

Even if we forget cauliflowa deserves to be slapped some sense into,, she still has to function as kale's trigger, together with episode titles which might be referring to kale, kale needs to rage hard and that would mean cauliflowa getting an ass whopping, she has no other reason to rage here..

I don't think she had much of a reason to rage when she first did it. Maybe Caulifla knocks someone out and someone gives her a congratulatory butt slap that Kale doesn't appreciate.

Its more along the lines of what was said earlier here, when someone acts cocky we are used to seeing them get their fair share of humiliation, cauliflowa being the latest addition to this character type..

Recoome will always hold a special place in my heart. He was a fun villain with one of my favorite fights in the series. I loved when he was just trolling Vegeta by playing the part by acting like he was hurt.

Yeah this is a huge contrast to someone like Jiren or Toppo. They don't even feel like they are in the same league when it comes to individualized personality. I'm really really not feeling Jiren so far as a villain. My favorite villians in Dragonball are over confident and taunt their opponent without being spoiled brats. My favorite being of the main canon being Cell movie villians being Cooler.

To be fair, your never going to feel that because he's not a villain. He's a the strongest hero from an organisation that protects an entire universe. The Pride Troopers are like DCs Green Lanterns or Marvels Nova Core. He just happens to be the antagonist in this situation.

Edit: Also I just noticed........Jiren has not posed once....

That feels......odd given how everyone else in his team acts.

This is true. I honestly enjoy the Pride Troopers at the moment. Jiren is hype and I like Toppo.

It depends on the character, really. Some of them are arrogant/cocky with the power and skill to back it up, some aren't. Caulifla hasn't had an actual fight yet so we can't say which she is yet, but I expect we're going to see some fireworks if she gets backed into a corner by a stronger foe.

It also depends if she goes solo or forms a team with Cabba and Kale. I'm thinking U7 is going to lose some of their heavy hitters to their 'I fight alone' attitudes.

Me too. I was annoyed when Cabba said the U6 Saiyans are goody-goodys so Caulifla is a much-needed alternative. My thoughts about her having SSJ2 aside I like her character a lot.

Going by how Naruto fanbase was in their female character preferences, it seems all they want was the shy/moe girl with big tits. (Hinata)

Don't be too quick to assume it's "the fanbase" that thinks something. When it comes to fandom, in general, hatred is stronger than love. Those who hate something have more energy to keep talking about it than those who like it, or are indifferent. If you pay attention to names it's often the same few people posting the same thing in different threads; even across different forums.

I remember one guy here who was surprised Goku was #1 in the DB Forever poll, saying that the only thing they ever saw was dislike for him, and other characters brought up more as favorites.

Arrogant characters can be awesome, but they have a lot of pitfalls they can easily fall into that get annoying. Arrogance can make a character unlikable when not balanced with consequence. Vegeta would not be such a loved character if he didn't get those beat downs in the Frieza and Cell saga. This does work insanely well for villains though.

If Goku felt the needed to use even his base level use of the ability to fight a serious Toppo, Vegeta had better have his own new trick up his sleeve if he wants to beat the 2nd Strongest Pride Trooper.

The main issue is that we've already seen that rage Kale is basically on par with Caulifla SSJ2. Caulifla still has potential to mimic another new SSJ transformation again, but if going berserk is the best Kale can do we've seen it all.

Previously, due to that slimmer design, it seemed like Kale would improve with a more controlled form, but now it seems like she's just going berserk again.

While I'm not a fan of the tsundere (cocky ass bitch that trashtalks or hits characters for no good reason despite being nice to them) Cauli wasnt that bad for now that is, since from the looks of it and how it was played out she's about to get some respect and reality slapped on her hard she couldnt even sense the danger those U11 fighters brought, this is not gonna end well for her, and I'm gonna love every second of it and why the hell is Kale so damn timid! this is more worst than Hinata's case, Hinata only goes timid mode when Naruto's around, Kale goes timid mode around anyone besides Cauli (until she goes LSSJ)

Nope, freeza is here to stay..
If he gets terminated now there can't be a freeza in Dragonball ever after this, and that never a good thing..

Interesting, didn't think about it like that, maybe they fuse together and the fusion freeza gets his life back because frost was alive.. This way frost character would amount to something, right now he seems to have no reason to exist

I was also thinking about a possible fusion for them similar to that of Namekian's, but I'm not sure I would like it (unless it's temporary)

Freezer is very probably here to stay. Episode 95 implied Goku and Freezer will definitely settle their score in a third fight.

I'm just brainstorming but I wonder if Frieza himself will somehow end up with the Super Dragon Ball wish. That could create an interesting new arc that flows from the last without a time skip...which I want but they seem intent on avoiding.

Given the new episode titles and how many characters, it is safe to bet the tournament will last at least 15 episodes, assuming it doesn't get interrupted or something. Maybe it'll last even longer.
