Also the Press Release said it was after "F" they even tweeted it takes place after the revival and defeat of Freeza.

It actually said that the new series will premier following the release of RoF in theaters, they weren't talking about when the story takes place. The only time frame we were given for the story is that it follows the aftermath of the battle with Buu, and I still think it's possible the series starts out immediately after Buu's defeat, catches up with BoG, bridges the gap between the two movies, and then continues on. There was a lot we missed, after all.

Then how would you explain this tweet then?

I don't mind Goku's gi that much, but I'm sick of Vegeta's Saiyan armor. TBH I HATED his RoF outfit so if they had to pick one I'm ok with the old outfit...why can't he just wear his Buu arc getup? Oh, budokai rules 'n all...well, they'll definitely wear casual clothes at some point.
I kinda understand why the Z fighters still wear the same thing...but what about the females?! Why the same old thing? It doesn't make sense that they can't afford new clothes especially that two of them are insanely rich.
Speaking of females... Finally a strong one. 18 held the title of "strongest girl" for too long but fat Beerus...urgh. Do all hakaishins have to be purple cats?

It doesn't say exactly when that will happen, though. There is clearly some pre F material being shown here, no RoF outfits, Krillin has hair, and gold SSJ Goku.

It may not take long to catch up to RoF, but I think there are some things that need to be explained first that happened before RoF. The other God who is stronger than Freeza could appear before RoF, and his encounter with Vegeta and Goku could be similar to Goku's very first "battle" with Beerus, and that could be the reason they're training with Whis.

Maybe he's not, and maybe his attendant stops him because it's not his universe. I can imagine him showing up wanting to see the person who has turned his brother Beerus into a soft, planet sparing God, and when Goku mistakes him for Beerus, thinking he has gotten fat from eating too much pudding, he becomes enraged and nearly destroys Earth until his attendant knocks him out.

I'm glad it's before RoF. I loved the movie, but it felt like there was a movie in between BoG and RoF that we missed. In BoG, Vegeta made Goku promise him that he could become SSG during the next battle, and then in RoF, Vegeta has already mastered SSG, and they're suddenly training with Whis for some unknown reason, and Goten and Trunks are missing, and for some reason they can't sense the massive amounts of ki being used during RoF... are they on another planet, or training in the RoSaT? This should be interesting.

But there's only a year or less between BoG and F. There's no reason for Super to be set between them.

I still really doubt this is between Battle of Gods and Resurrection F. That would make no sense chronoloigically, or marketing-wise.

Anyway, judging by the poster. it seems like it might take place after BoG, which is what I predicted. Hopefully it'll be about the 12 universes.

I for one hope this would retcon Resurrction F(aka Frieza saga: Recolored Edition). From what I heard, that movie didn't bring the plot forward and expand anything like BoG did.

More villains for one arc would be a terrible idea. Besides, those gods are the only villain material we have now. Who else would be strong enough to pose a threat? Re-re-resurrected Frieza?

I didn't think the other God of Destruction would looks so similar to Beerus.
I expected Toriyama to use some of his Neko Majin designs.


Anyway I can't wait to see what kind of personality Beerus' brother has. He looks like a real bully lol.

Obviously Fat!Beerus is to Beerus, what Grey Buu is to Fat Buu and Demon King Piccolo is to Katatz' son.
Fem!Whis is just a female version of whatever species Whis is.
Or maybe Fat!Beerus is a past version of Beerus and Fem!Whis is Whis before his obvious sex change...

Speculation aside we are less than a week from the first chapter of the manga right? Given it's the first chapter, we might just get more than the usual 13-15 pages of the original manga and maybe as much as 30-40 pages.
One can hope..
