It is so wrong! What sick person would ever dream of crossing universes!? Whoever thought to put Goku in Naruto's costume is just horrible! Who in their right mind would ever think that was ok...oh wait:dbzfan7 wrote:What connection does DBZ have with Naruto? Naruto borrowed from DBZ so it makes sense for them to maybe tip their hate to Goku. Naruto in DBZ is just soooo wrong. It is a total waste of a costume. Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
Your point? I think it looks ugly on Goku and has no place in this game. I don't give a shit if Goku's drawn like that as it's a picture, who cares. But to waste time programming a Naruto outfit is ridiculous when we have a shit town library full of other choices that Goku never had in a game. Instead we get 'Herp a derp it's Goku in a Naruto outfit, get it, because he's popular derp, buy it along with Vegetto as dlc.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:It is so wrong! Not going to lie. That doesn't look like Goku. I know Toriyama drew it but damn.

That too. Looks like the Dragon Ball Online character from the trailers wearing a Naruto outfit.TheGmGoken wrote:Not going to lie. That doesn't look like Goku. I know Toriyama drew it but damn.

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th
There is no "waste of time" programming that costume. There is only a benefit. Someone not liking it is, realistically speaking, not going to suddenly make them NOT purchase the game because an unrelated costume IS in the game. Sure, someone might SAY they won't buy it because of that, but I refuse to honestly believe that such a thing would be the sole reason.
Furthermore, it's not like Goku getting a Naruto costume is somehow making you NOT get extra/additional costumes for other characters in the game. In other words, you getting a Naruto costume isn't the reason you're not getting a Badman Shirt Vegeta costume. They're completely unrelated.
Perspective, folks. Please. I beg of you.

Isn't there space thing? Like they program a lot of stuff so they either have to remove some things or put 1 thing in and remove the other. I hear a lot of games do that. They remove some features due to space issues.VegettoEX wrote:Goku getting a Naruto costume is somehow making you NOT get extra/additional costumes for other characters in the game. Costumes are so small in the grand scheme of things that there's no argument to be made there.

Well if you do like it it's DLC so it's not exactly in game. Any time spent on the Naruto costume could have gone to something else. Hell a Badman Vegeta shirt is already a billion times better than a Naruto shirt. Who asked for Goku to wear Naruto's clothes in a game (before Naruto wore Goku's)?VegettoEX wrote:There is no "waste of time" programming that costume. There is only a benefit. They probably won't think of that because it's not popular enough. Where's the money in it?KentalSSJ6 wrote:Badman Vegeta costume..for the love of Kami I hope that actually happens. Along with 59 Jacket Goku, Saiyan Armor Piccolo and Tenshinhan, and the movie 10 dress for Videl.

I didn't ask for it, but I have no problem with it. I think it's neat.
For someone to make a big deal out of a bonus costume that literally cannot have any substantial affect on the overall quality of the rest of the product leads me to believe they're literally just looking for anything to complain about and pin on the game to justify their disgust with the direction it's heading in and therefore their not purchasing the game.
... to which I would say there are plenty of other things to legitimately argue about/with, and to please find them and present your case in a way that doesn't make you look absolutely insane

True, while the Naruto outfit wouldent have been my first choice, I get the point of it seeing as Ninja Storm 3 had the Goku outfit. Id love a Sun Wukong outfit for Goku and Gohan though, Toriyama already drew Gohan in it.VegettoEX wrote:I didn't ask for it, but I have no problem with it. I think it's neat.

My only gripe about Goku getting Naruto's costume (besides the model looking ugly) is that this isn't Storm 3, I'm pretty sure we won't get loads of costumes in DLC packs, so any other cool looking costume used in the series that weren't in past games will pretty sure not appear in this one.
Other than that my problem with the game is that It's not Zenkai Battle Royale nor Super DBZ Alpha 3rd Impact Turbo HD Arcade Max Edition Remix: The New Challengers.

So wait... people complain about a DLC costume/character because they don't like it... when they don't have to have it?

Because it's not a necessary part of the game. You don't have to pre-order the game from day 1, and even if you want to, you don't have to download the costume. You don't like it? Ignore it and move on. It doesn't have any negative effect on the game, and it's not a necessary part of it. It's a plus for those who like it, it's nothing for those who don't like it.Quebaz wrote:I don't have to have the DLC, but that's like saying I don't have to have the game eitherDBZGTKOSDH wrote:So wait... people complain about a DLC costume/character because they don't like it... when they don't have to have it?. When did this costume become such a big deal anyway? I thought most of us just shrugged it off when it was announced in the first place.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.
